| Bottom Line: | I just started using the gel and it felt great on my skin. I believe it all depends on your skin. I just hope-in it works and i never had acne until this year. I tried everything other the counter prouducts Which sucks and just a waste of my money. I believe Aveeno products work great for mild acne. I have acne in the fore head. Which hope that this product works.
Worth a try. |

| Pros: | It doesn't cause any adverse reactions, doesn't feel too thick/heavy, dries fairly imperceptibly, and goes well with a little concealer. |
| Cons: | It takes a lot of time to take care of acne, and causes minimal results, not adequate for spot treatments. |
| Bottom Line: | Even though it's fairly cheap and does take care of some of the acne, it is a long term medication that takes at least a month to work. Missing any doses of it will build resistance, and then it doesn't work nearly as well.
It only works for people with light acne, if you have moderate-severe acne, you're better off with Accutane. |

| Pros: | Did finally work and went on well. |
| Cons: | Made my skin real oily and it took a long time to work. |
| Bottom Line: | Alot of people stop using it after a couple weeks like i did but i got back on it and it took 7 weeks for me to start seeing any difference at all i just woke up and noticed that it was working then it took another 8 weeks to finally get rid of most of them bottom line it took about 4 months but my face looks 100% better but the oiliness of my skin has been giving me a problem i might try tretinoin. |

| Pros: | No side effects. Goes well under makeup. |
| Cons: | It smells like alcohol and doesn't work. |
| Bottom Line: | I'm using the solution in the mornings. By itself it's not effective. My skin is worse now than when I started, eventhough this is supposed to be an antibacterial solution. When I get out of the shower I look like I have a face full of bright red chicken pox. I'm supposed to be using Steivamycin in the evenings, but for some reason I get anxiety after I use it, so I've only been using the clyndamycin alone. It's not helping my skin at all. |

| Pros: | It has cleared up my face a bit and does not dry it out one bit. |
| Cons: | The first few weeks (i started using this two weeks ago) my acne went down but i woke up yesterday with three new NASTY pimples and was frustrated. |
| Bottom Line: | I dont know how long it takes but it doesnt work very quickly, but hopefully it will fix up my bad acne problem. |

| Pros: | I had moderate acne and after a month of using this I had maybe 2-5 pimples. I used this as a topical and with an oral antibiotic for a month, once a night, along with washing my face. |
| Cons: | I had a pimple on my chest and applied clindamicilin to it and the pimple became infected and nasty looking...keep the use to the face only. |
| Bottom Line: | I tried a lot of different solutions and this was the only one that worked for me! Acne still hasn't come back. |

| Pros: | worked well! not sticky or too thick. and so cheap! |
| Cons: | some drying, but moisturizer with a few drops of jojoba combats it well. pretty bad when you stop using it, even for a few days, however...make sure you get your prescription refilled before you run out, or it won't be as effective. |
| Bottom Line: | i used 1% clindamycin phosphate gel, morning and evening. (morning, followed with aveeno ultra-calming moisturizer and three drops jojoba oil; evening, followed with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, then six drops jojoba oil, and same aveeno moisturizer.)
...combine this with not picking your blemishes (even if a few bumps pop up, this stuff knocks them out before they come to a head, picking will only keep the clindamycin from working!) and you'll have gorgeous skin.
really, i was horribly skeptical of this stuff due to some of the negative reviews, but it's cheap and it works really well...my skin has never been so beautiful [and i had some pretty bad acne.] |

| Pros: | Does not sting the skin. |
| Cons: | Did not work for me with my acne but I'm sure it could work for the right person. |
| Bottom Line: | Used the product for about a month. Irritated my sensitive skin somewhat but not overly. The product was affordable at $35 but was ineffective for me. I guess the quest continues to find that miracle product. |

| Pros: | It cost absolutely NOTHING with my insurance!.Cleared my rash and regular bumps up in 3 days! LOVE IT!..so many compliments from coworkers!..The were so shocked it worked so fast! |
| Cons: | My chin would get irratated and red..but i just stopped putting it there..and its hard to tell if ur using to much when using ur finger..Would use i cotton swab |
| Bottom Line: | I just started using the product. Actually i had a rash on my face. They were little red bumps all over my face and i went to the doctors and the called ot a rash they didnt really know what exactly would work but they told me to take soome benedryl and the Clindamycin..well i did and the Clindamycin cleared my skin up the next day!.I still had a few. But i started monday and was clear by friday..not only did it clear the rash it cleared my bumps too..i have a few bumps on my forehead and one medium on my chin..but i think thats because it was bringing the oil out..Right now i get facials once a month and i have been using Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide Wash, and Lotion..at night..i hear Clindamycin and Peroxide together is suppose to be excellent..i was going to ask my doctor if i could use the Clindamycin every day..well according to everyone elses blogs i can..So im very pleased! |
