| Pros: | I was very pleased with the results. My face looks great almost all of the time. |
| Cons: | Back started breaking out and was told to increase to 2 a day. Made me sick. I am going down to one a day. |
| Bottom Line: | I have felt bad for sometime now. Never made the connection until I was told to increase to two a day. Not sure I want to continue this treatment, tired of feeling sick. I hate looking like a freak though. Mind you, I am 37 years old and did not have acne as a teen. |

| Pros: | I don't feel nausious, (I drank a lot of water with it) and no headaches. I've only been on it for a day, so I'll see what happens. My skin isn't drying out. |
| Cons: | None so far. |
| Bottom Line: | I'm just going to see how it works. I've read a lot and people said it works, but I'm also using other topical medications with it, so maybe it will work a little differently. |
| Usage: | Courtney has used this item for a day or two. |

| Pros: | Worked for a few weeks. The acne came back after a month or so, but not as severe as before. |
| Cons: | I didn't get any significant side effect... other than occasional nausea and appetite loss. |
| Bottom Line: | I've tried EVERYTHING... but still looking. |

| Pros: | It generally cleared up my facial acne. |
| Cons: | My crouchal region and penis developed a painfull rash which has caused it to scar quite severly. It is quite embarrasing and it has made me very affraid to talk to women. |
| Bottom Line: | Although it helped with my acne, the hyperpigmentation and scaring on my penis is a long term side affect, and it has not cleared up after more than a year, which has me quite worried. |

| Usage: | Simran Bedi has used this item for about a year. |

| Pros: | Completely cleared up face, chest and back. |
| Cons: | No side effects for me. |
| Bottom Line: | After 6 months on one 100mg pill a day it worked perfectly but now i belive my body is adapting to it. I will try to get a perscription for 200mg a day because acne is faintly returning on face.
During the first month and a half acne got worse but the following four and a half months were definately worth it. After reading other reviews it seems minocycline works from person to person. |

| Pros: | It initially worked well to clear up my minor acne and reduced the redness of rosacea. It was inexpensive using my insurance ($20 copay). |
| Cons: | Caused TERRIBLE pains in my knees, hips, fingers, and shoulders. Lost effectiveness after 2 mos. It also made me sweat very easily and I developed a dry cough when I used it, which stopped immediately upon discontinuing the med. |
| Bottom Line: | I took minocin for 6 months regularly but I stopped taking the medication because of the serious joint and muscle pains it caused. I've takne other antibiotics for acne before and have never had this sort of reaction, so this was scary. Others may have positive experiences with it, but for me the joint pains and other strange side effects were not worth the moderate job it did at clearing up my acne. |

| Pros: | This is a treatment for moderate acne that really works. Took it for 2 yrs haven't used it for 1 yr and i'm still acne free. |
| Cons: | Small rash on back of neck and back of legs. |
| Bottom Line: | Worth the money and worth the minor rashes. Insurance paid for this. |

| Pros: | Cleared up most of the achne redness, did a good job on my face. I haven't noticed it making me feel sick at all. Cheap! |
| Cons: | Hasn't cleared up the achne on my back and shoulders as much as I would like. It makes me more sensitive to sunlight, so I go red on my face after a day out exposed to the sun! |
| Bottom Line: | Quite good product, it's not perfect, but I would reccommend it - it's certainly a good improvement at a decent price. |

| Pros: | It didn't change anything for me. |
| Cons: | I developed a severe case of hives shortly after taking it, so I wasn't able to take it long enough to know if it would have made a difference. |
| Bottom Line: | It might work for some, but apparently I'm allergic. It's in the tetracycline family so if you are allergic to those products, don't take it! |
| Recommended: | No |
| Usage: | Emily has used this item for about a week. |
