Pros: cleared my painful cystic acne completely! it took three months, my acne got worse during the first month.
Cons: i have gone up two dress sizes and im wondering if its going to stop, im hungry all the time! i was super moody for the 1st month, but not now after 6 months i feel great, im just very voluptuous.
Bottom Line: warning to those who struggle to keep their weight down. being acne free is amazing! it works.

Pros: It's natural... no wierd chemicals for your skin to absorb. It actually seems to be helping.
Cons: Slight burn initially, but only for a moment and, yes, the smell is pretty overpowering for a couple minutes. I have sensitive eyes that start watering when I use it.
Bottom Line: I never had much acne in highschool.. just a pimple or two every now and then. Now, at 25 years old, my face has been exploding non-stop. SO frustrating. It started a few years ago but has gotten to where I have permanent patches of deep red scars and eruptions on each cheek, plus random spots on my forehead, nose, chin, neck, etc. I naturally have more dry skin (everywhere, and dry hair), so when I tried ProActive (and most any acne medication), it just made my skin horribly dried out and flaky and red. As far as diet, I do ALL the stuff you're supposed to do. I'm a total hippie food snob. After spending literally hundreds of dollars on natural products that didn't clear my skin, I overhauled my entire regimen this week and only washed with natural soap, rub ACV on with a cotton ball after I wash my face at night, and during the day use only a natural tinted moisturizer on my face for foundation. It seems to actually be helping. Not completely clear yet, but improvement.

Pros: My medical insurance covered the cost of the peel. Had a salicylic peel at the dermatologist's office.
Cons: Stinged a more longer in areas of my face. Left the office with SO much moisturizer that I looked completely greased up.
Bottom Line: It brought to the surface all of the whiteheads and blackheads that were hiding. You look worse before you get better but it was mild enough that you can deal with it. I WILL get it done again esp since I only had to pay my co-pay for my medical insurance.

Pros: Starts working immediatly. I noticed a huge difference in 3 days.
Cons: dry skin patches after 1 week, but that goes away in 4-5 days.
Bottom Line: By far the best I've ever used. Even my 13 yr. old daughter commented on the awesome results after only 1 week.

Pros: Clears skin quite well. Cheaper, and easier to access than many acne treatments.
Cons: May dry out skin,or leave it a bit red.
Bottom Line: This product worked really well for me! Someone even asked me what i had been using and if it was proactiv. Still have a few break outs here and there, but nothing like before AcneFree. I love this product. I highly reccommend it! I can go out without makeup and not feel self concious. Try it.
