Pros:

great moisturizer, light weight, smooth, no separation during storage, doesn't seem to clog pore or irritate, in fact... very calming.

Cons:

smells sorta womanly... not like a britany spears fragrance, but someone with class. maybe like one of the chicks from the golden girls. it's not that powerful and my natural man smell overcomes it quickly. so no problem really.

i would suggest trying it. despite the small size of the jar, it only takes a fingertip's amount to do the trick. spreads very well. anything else? naah i think that'll about do it.

Terrible, didn't work at all. It may just not work for me, but it should have done something.
I know this brand is pretty good, which leads me to expect a lot from it. I have dry skin, like so dry it flakes. I also have mild acne which is pretty well controlled and usually doesn't need any sort of treatment besides popping and clearing the blemish of any debris with a special tool...which I realize is not a great idea, but it works for me. So to combat the dry skin and perhaps even the acne I gave a small bottle of this a try. Upon using this as an all over treatment, it made me wake to six new small pimples after all was said and done. I also noticed my skin was a bit red, and back to being dry. So not only did it not moisturize but it caused acne. It didn't seem like it clogged my pores, but it certainly didn't do what it is supposed to. It was also very oily which was a major turn off. Like, it seemed it was 60% oil and the rest was whatever else they decided to put in. I really don't know what went wrong, but this is not for me. My mom also used this for a bit, but it made her break out. I have used the dark spot correcting cream (the pink colored one) and it didn't cause breakouts, so there is definitely something in here that doesn't agree with my skin...and my skin isn't even sensitive. Look elsewhere, like perhaps Olay or CeraVe if your skin tends not to agree with some moisturizers. I am disappointed in this product.

I feel the exact same way

Pros:

Gentle, moisturizing, comforting and calming ......non -irritating and simply wonderful!

Cons:

Non

I am 61 and my skin has changed. I have been through most of the high end department store brands trying to get a youthful look back. Those that were even recommended for sensitive skin severely reddened and irritated my skin and made me almost think that good tone and texture were a thing of the past. I tried Pond's because it has been around a long time and seemed safe. Wow! In two days my skin looks amazing for my age!!! It has calmed and looks radiant again. I am really thankful! When I think of money I have spent trying to get youthful radiance and clear, even skin again. Advertising attracts us and we tend to feel left out if we don't try all these promises. They are just that PROMISES! I am now a firm believer in the tried and true. Pond's is it for me. I want to continue to look pretty.

Pros:

super cheap but works like a luxury cream very simple and uncomplicated pure moisture best as night cream can be used durring day also but very sparingly applied great under makeup does not irritate my eye area or anywhere very soothing

Cons:

the only con is because its so inexpensive and avaliable alot of people dont think it wors but i know its been around for over 100 years and started as "ponds healing cream" checkout wikipedia for full history

i have used so many creams in my life on my face but NOTHING I mean NOTHING compares to PONDS dry skin cream I'm 37 and people mistake me for 25 or 26 all the time I've been using ponds since I was 22 I always come back home to this love the smell and the emollient richness I know in the morning my skin will be FULLY moisturized all I know is I have always had dry skin and yet I don't have a single wrinkle I am addicted to Clinique DDL lotion for daytime though but i can layer it under my ponds at night too you can layer under or over this cream if u need treatments also gave a jar to a girlfriend of mine who had adult acne and she wore it under her makeup and it cleared her pimples and she didn't break out anymore BOTTOM LINE: LOVE IT FOR LIFE

Pros:

it hydrates my skin and leaves it smooth to the touch.

Cons:

it could be oily if too much is applied to your skin.

i live on an island in the pacific so its summer all year round and this product works like magic for my skin. and the important reason why i chose it was because it didn't cost an arm and a leg compared to other moisturizers.

Pros:

-Moisturizes well. I wake up with no flakes in the morning! No other moisturizer has done that for me thus far.

Cons:

-Scent can be a bit annoying
-Thick application, takes a while but I find that adding 2 drops of jojoba oil makes it better.

Love it! It's my go to night time moisturizer now that the weather is getting colder and my face is getting drier. Would recommend for those on the regimen and have flake problems.

Pros:

- inexpensive
- light-feeling
- very mild fragrance
- controls dry, flaky skin

Cons:

None that I found.

This is an excellent moisturizer to use with a BP regimen. I have combination skin, so my T-zone gets really oily, and I tend to flake in every other area. I find it doesn't make my skin feel oily throughout the day, and completely controls the flaky skin. I recommend you wait about 20 minutes after applying your BP to avoid having the product balling up on your skin. Also, quite a few reviews have mentioned that it's greasy. While at first I agreed, I found the trick is in the application. Just rub a small coin-sized amount into your palm. Pat the product gently onto your skin and add more to areas you generally get drier in. This way, you'll get a light coverage, and you can focus in on the areas you want more moisturizing action. I personally found this method making my skin feeling as light as though I'm not even wearing any product. It's available cheaply at drug stores, so definitely give it a try!

Great moisture, clogged pores
I used this for a few days because it was at my Mums house and it was my only option. I was surprised when my skin felt supple and smooth after it absorbed, but whew! Does it ever clog my pores! I woke up the next day looking like I had freckles or something. :(

worked well.
This is my 2nd tub. I bought it when I moved from the humid tropics back to Seattle when it was turning winter. My skin was drying up, like literal flakes were just coming off and couldn't handle the cold. My skin is combo, this worked well. Its super basic, I put it on at night and in the morning and my skin hydrated without any complicated stuff that most moisturisers claim to have. I've moved back to the tropics and I still use it. I must admit it doesn't absorb very quickly and has a very slick texture at first, but as long as my skin is hydrated I don't really mind it.
