The Regimen

After using this product for two months, I am a believer. It has cleared the horrific breakout I had after a miscarriage which prompted me to try it in the first place-- I had originally suffered from "mild" acne since I was 13. I thought nothing could fix my skin after the hormone shift I recently went through- it felt like every single pore was working to destroy itself. After eight weeks of diligent use, I am at the point of just clearing up scars from my horrible acne that previously existed. I do get one to two small whiteheads a week that I simply need to spot treat and get rid of, but no big ones and no blackheads etc. Before starting Dan's regimen, I got off all other retinoids and harsh cleaners and cleaned my face out with a few sulfur masks. After cleaning only with Purpose' gentle cleanser for about a week and avoiding all other acne products, I then started the BP regimen. This seemed to work in my favor because the redness and flaking were minimal and I have uber sensitive skin.The first few weeks will feel horrible from the BP, and I also had a bad initial breakout, but if you stick with it you'll be cleared up in no time. I can finally feel comfortable walking out of the house with no makeup for the first time in almost fifteen YEARS! It works. Period.

Back in 05, I played around with my acne before college started. Mistake. I had a huge acne breakout, suntanned on minocycline, ended up with a bad bad complexion. Somehow found acne.org. First night my mom noticed improvement. Few weeks less and less acne. Think of this stuff like a bunch of archers at a castle gate. The archers(the regimen) and the charging orcs(acne). Some orcs get through but most of the acne is killed from a distance. This regimen takes a lot of experimenting. It can dry your face out really bad if you use to much benzoyl and not enough moisturizer. Redface in the day stuff. I love this stuff and I know what my face looks like when I stop using it. Just wear less during the day, and a ton at night if you have bad acne. Lots and lots of moisturizer during the night sessions. Alternate the amount you use at night. Try to find the balance between the drying benzoyl and the moisturizer. Balance is hard to figure out. Recommendations: 1. Watch out how you sleep. Are you smashing your face into your pillow case? Hair gel and hair stuff could be adding to your acne. Train yourself to sleep on your back or change pillow cases often. 2. Dont touch your face obviously, use a napkin. Bathroom toilet seat covers are great for wiping away face oil. 3. Shaving or electric shaver? electric could reduce a ton of metal scrapping on the skin. 4. Be gentle. 5. Be healthy 6. Breath and find ways to meditate 7. No sun I've thought about what I'd write on this page for 9 years. Kinda stupid, but when you're at your lowest (acne wise), and something like the regimen saves you, it means a lot.

I have had cystic acne on my face since my freshman year of college. The severity fluctuates with my monthly cycles. Unable to go on BC, I sought help from a dermatologist. She placed me on oral antibiotics. The antibiotics helped for a couple years, but diminished in effectiveness over time. Before I started using Acne.org's regimen, I had tried just about everything. From home remedies to every brand, over the counter 1 step, 3 step regimen out there it would seem. I was starting to lean towards trying Accutane because my dermatologist recommended that if my acne persisted I use that even though it was extreme, but my acne was extreme.. and it was persisting.. After using acne.org for a couple of weeks, it not only cleared up my skin, reduced shine, (my skin is prone to being oily) but also my life and my confidence improved. It saved me from caking on make-up and from embarrassment time and time again. At one time I was working with kids a lot, and I remember this little girl asked me what are all those bumps on your face? I was mortified, but simply said my skin is having a problem (A MAJOR PROBLEM). I didn't get it either, I was healthy, athletic, took great care of myself inside and out, strove to be stress free! However, cystic acne, as you already know I'm sure, is genetic and doesn't object to taking on clean, healthy people! I'm a big fan of Dan's Regimen products. They have got me 100% free from acne for the first time in 20 years. No other topical treatment has worked for me and I still have to pinch myself to believe that I finally have acne free skin. I think that the AHA+ is an essential part to the regimen as this magical cream got my skin from clear to glowing. The Big Kit Plus pack is great if you are following the regimen exactly as per Dan's instructions. It provides good value for money (especially if you live overseas to reduce the costs of packaging) and it saves you having to keep ordering in replacement supplies as a lot of product is used in following the regimen. You may find that you use the different products at various rates, so for subsequent orders you may only need to order individual items. Obviously you would need to watch out for shipping costs if this is the case. I highly recommend that Big Kit Plus pack and all of Dan's products in general.

In high school, I used the Clinique acne system for around two years and I loved it. It always worked for me and did wonders to clear my skin up. However, during my first year of college, my skin blew up. It started off really gradual, but it kept getting worse and worse. I stopped using the Clinique system to try and find something else, but nothing really worked. Just as I was getting past the point of desperation, I decided to try Acne.org. Well to start, hey guyss I'm Gabby lol I'm a 17 year old girl. I've tried so many products and even saw a dermatologist (FOR A YEAR) -waste of my time- I had excessive redness and I would say a little more than a fare amount of acne. I started this product in April, and it's amazing. It doesn't even do the whole "it's going to get worse before it gets better thing" it just starts to work! As of now my skin has dramatically changed. The redness along with the acne and blackheads have gone down so much! I'm not 100% clear but that is my fault most likely due to the make up I wear (liquid foundation, blush, bronzed etc) even with my daily make up use it still worked wonders! And as much of a difference it makes when you follow the steps to the letter. If your a bit of a slacker at times it still works magic! And when your skin starts clearing up more and more as you use it, the complements feel amazing to get all the time! Such a confidence boost! PS! IT DOESNT STING OR BURN LIKE OTHER PRODUCTS! That was a HUGE thumbs up for me!

I've waited 2 long depressing years for this moment. I went on 3 different prescription meds and none of them did a thing. My acne got so bad, people were recommending me acne products without me even asking! I even had someone pull me in to their bathroom and start applying their crappy acne product on my face!! Yeah, that actually pissed me the hell off. And to make things worse, their cheap product broke me out all over! Oh well, thank god I had the regimen to clean all that up. It's been four months since I started using the regimen and my face is 100% clear. My hundreds of scars are almost gone too! I've been getting compliments on my complexion lately. I haven't had compliments on my skin since I was in high school. It took about a month before I noticed a decent change. I went from breaking out everyday to every week. Let me be clear: The Regimen WILL clear your skin. Do it EXACTLY as outlined, and it WILL clear your skin. I owe it to Dan (who founded this site, along with The Regimen) to come back and write this review. I started using his products as outlined in The Regimen in May 2008 and it changed my life. I was 23 and had tried seemingly every over-the-counter and prescription drug available. When I first came across this site I ignored it because The Regimen seemed to promote Benzoyl Peroxide, a topical drug I had already used many times. I thought "this may work for people with light acne, but BP is a basic drug, and I need something more powerful." But guess what? I was wrong. I soon realized that although I had already used Benzoyl Peroxide before, I had never used it in a way that can totally eliminate your acne. The Regimen will do that. I started to notice an immediate improvement when I used it. Still, it took a while to clear my skin. I had a few depressing setbacks and I wasn't completely clear until 4 months later. But from that point on I've been just about 100% clear. It's been 5 years of clear skin. If you do this regimen as outlined, and give it 4 months to work, you'll experience completely clear skin. Most people are totally clear before 4 months, but within that time period it will definitely work. It's been demonstrated scientifically and by thousands upon thousands of people. I'm one of them. But I can't tell you how annoyed I get by people who say this stuff doesn't work when THEY DON'T USE IT AS DIRECTED! You can't just use a product however you want and then claim it doesn't work. Use it exactly as Dan says and your skin will clear. It's as simple as that. As for the products themselves, I have always used the official Acne.org products, which are easily the best on the market. They're pharmaceutical grade and designed specifically for The Regimen. Much higher quality than what I've used before, including prescription products. Use as directed and I can absolutely guarantee you won't be disappointed. I owe it to Dan and to all of you to come back here and share this experience. Please, please, please give it a try and use as directed. You won't regret it.
