Suggest you limit bread intake also suggest you eat more whole bread like whole wheat/meal,try to even get gluten free.
i use to eat loads of white bread but ditched it for wholemeal and limit slices to 4-5 a day.

in conjunction with other eating and diet changes more likely yes.its a case of understanding and reading your face and knowing what your habits,hygene and diet are and sussing out why your skin became aggravated.why you need to limit your diet dir a month,eat the samish diet fir a month,cutting out sugar,processed,eat sweet potato instead of white,eat brown bread instead of white and keep your hygene good.
just was with warm clean water and pat dry each time with clean towel.sleep with clean bedding every few days,dont touch your skin all time and drink water several times a day.
do this for a month,keep eyebon skin then lets say your skin clears up.introduce some fruit and if your dkin is ok,then its ok to eat thst fruit,if you breakout,then you know what the problem is.
dont use spot creams,only apply it on active spots,when clear dont use it.
just use a moisturiser thats good with your skin.wash twice daily and moisturise afterwards.
wash your hands with soap every now and then just to keep them clean.
