Does anyone have any experience with soy milk and cystic acne?

I've been drinking soy milk for maybe 6 or more months. I didn't notice any negative side affects for a long time. I only have it with coffee or cereal once in a while but definitely every week. The past few months I've had consistent cystic breakouts. I'm wondering if soy is contributing to this..

Probably. I quit consuming soy products because they screw around with estrogen levels, and is an extremely hormone raising products. Unless you somehow ferment soy, stay away from soy based products, and even almond/cashew milk, because too much of that stuff too can cause breakouts over time. Switch to Oat, Rice, Hemp or Coconut Milk if possible.

Literally the exact same thing happened to me. I was having way more soy milk than you were, honestly. I had like a cup a day with breakfast: cereal, oats, smoothies etc. since January, and finally gave it up on April 25th. Between January and May I had the worst, most painful, scarring breakouts. They have reduced now, but I still get a a few pimples here and there. So my skin isn't even close to breakout-free yet. I wanted to know what your experience with giving up soy has been? Did you see a reduction in your acne, and how long did it take etc? Thanks!

Personally, I do not consume any processes nut or legume milks. I believe it would be best to make our own. Simply because there are unfavorable ingredients like synthetic vitamins, minerals, sweeteners, and carrageenan.
