Hi, I'm from the UK looking for an alternative moisturiser to use, because Dan's colours my face, and as much as I enjoy it, I can't put up with the colouring anymore.

The link to the product, on the UK amazon website can be found here, where you can look at the ingredients and anything you need to: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Neutrogena-Sensitive-Oil-Free-Facial-Moisturizer/dp/B000052YOX/

I noticed the 8th ingredient (Isopropyl isostearate) on the back of the product has a 5/5 rating on Dan's comedogenicity scale, which could be a problem. And there's also an ingredient called "Soybean Glycine Soya Stearals", which has the word "Soybean" in, rated a 3/5 on the scale.

I tried Cetaphil before I even knew about the regimen, it burned my face and left it red, so I definitely can't use that one, sadly.

Dan's scale also says, the first 7 ingredients, and there's a 5/5 ingredient on the 8th? This isn't far off, so I'm not sure how specific this 7th ingredient thing is or how companies list their products.

I've been trying "Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser", but it seems to sit on top of the Benzoyl Peroxide and my currently damaged skin, and Dan's was so good, because it felt water based, and just sunk into my skin like I was almost being showered by a moisturiser. I liked the look of Simple's ingredients, and I used to use it, but now I'm on the regimen, it's a problem.

Has anybody used the moisturiser I'm suggesting or have any other suggestions for me?

Also, I don't have oily skin or dry skin. My face tightens after I shower, and I do need to typically moisturise, but I guess it's not any severe dryness, so I honestly don't even know what my skin type is and if I should even look for an oil free moisturiser.

I'd appreciate some feedback, thanks.

Now that I think about it - I probably put this comment on the wrong category haha, but thanks for responding regardless.

I tried it, it seemed to not absorb very well on top of the BP in certain areas and left a white residue that took a while to sink in. It also stung and burnt my skin, and turned it quite red. A lot of moisturiser's have done this to my skin on top of the BP, even ones that were perfectly fine before even using the BP. The only one that hasn't, is Dan's moisturiser. The only problem with that one is, that it colours my face. It looks like I've gone on the sunbeds and covered everything up except my face. So I'm really struggling to be honest. I don't want to be burned and I don't want to be red, unless it eventually subsides and that's just my skin getting used to it, then I might reconsider using it. I've also thought about going against the (very specific) rules of the regimen and just using the BP on the night with Dan's moisturiser and just cleansing and using the neutrogena one on the morning, so my face doesn't look ridiculous for the day.
