I just wanted to share what has helped clear my back acne. I still suffer from facial acne though unfortunately.

It is the most simple solution I still can't believe it is working and I hope it continues to work.

I use Palmolive Gold soap in the shower every night. And since I started my back has cleared up considerably.

I used to at any one time have an average of 10-15 swollen, red and large pimples spread across my back. I got these on the shoulder blades, middle of the back, the bottom of my back, the shoulders, pretty much anywhere.

Since I started using the soap I have had hardly any pimples, it took a month or so to completely clear it all. And I have only had 1 or 2 pimples here and there every now and then, but basically completely clear.

I would not recommend this for your face because the skin on your back is different. It would be too drying on the face.

It contains a small amount of the ingredient called triclocarban which is antibacterial. I'm guessing this is what helped stop the swelling and inflammation, but what I find interesting is that I no longer get those little bumpy plugs in my back, which are the beginning of pimples.

So not only does it seem to treat the actual stage of the inflamed pimple but it possibly prevents the whole cycle, the plug never gets to get formed in the first place. I dont know how or why, but it works, and I am really happy .

I don't know if this will work for everyone, as people have different skin, but I wanted to share my experience because it really has worked for me. And I know how frustrating it is to have acne and I want to share this so maybe it will help someone else too and make them happy. And a bonus is that the soap is really cheap.

I have been using it for 6 + months and my back has been clear that whole time except for 1 or 2 infrequent pimples here and there. It took a few weeks to a month to completely clear up but I noticed results pretty quickly.

You can buy this soap anywhere I think in Australia, I buy it from chemist warehouse in a bulk pack of ten for $3.70, and they last for ages.

I'm so glad something has actually worked for my back acne, I just really hope it continues to work because I am so much more confident having cleared my back, now I can wear nice tops, bikinis and singlets without feeling self concious. It has been great
