Can someone recommend a good weekly/bi-weekly face mask? I'm a vegan so if you know of a good vegan mask for acne-prone skin, please let me know! I'm using a clay mask right now by John Masters Organics, but it's just OK.I have sensitive skin that is prone to cystic breakouts(especially when using harsh chemicals), so I'd like to avoid anything potentially irritating. Thanks in advance!
*Edit, my skin isn't bad right now, I just like to use a weekly mask for prevention*
For cystic acne, honeStly i wouldnt go for masks. Most face masks are alkaline, and will open up the pores and bring more acne to the surface. I know it sounds great, but if you have reoccuring hormonal acne, it just irritates it more. Maybe something like a calming mask, made with aloe, cucumber, something to calm it down would be bests instead of your typical face mask
but if youre not down with that, i recommend lush heh
Thanks everyone! My skin isn't bad or anything right now btw. I just know my skin well enough that I know what it doesn't like haha. I've looked into Lush, but I know that many people have experienced breakouts from using them. I've been eyeing the Aztec mask though, I may give that a shot. Any particular soothing masks you like, Exning?
I use multani mitti and turmeric masks. Multani mitti is basically the same as Aztec mask. I use it after steaming my face every Sunday.

....it can be difficult finding a vegan face mask, especially for males! My weekly face mask was not vegan but claimed to be detoxifying, which all face masks are really due to their properties.
I came across hellosach [Edited link out] the other week from a friend who tried them recently. They really loved it. From their website they appear to be natural and vegan. Australian company, so not sure if they ship worldwide.
I purchased it for my partner recently. I will get her to complete a review on the site once she has tried it and I can let you know how she goes with it.
