And here we go.. In my 30s, 15 years battling against acne..
I have managed to clear my skin again.. (after a bad breakout in June, and the apparition of two big cysts 2 weeks ago).
But one quite big pimple has come out (where the cysts were)..
When I say big, i mean a red swollen inflammation, with a white head in the middle. It looks quite angry. I do not know what to do with it, because it is the last inflammation left on my skin. The rest has gone. It has been growing since sunday, and it is now at 'peak size' (I hope). It is not hurting at all (so not a nasty cyst or anything). It is just very obvious. Almost like a boil.
I just do not know how to make it go away.
To cut a long story short, with me, pimples can stay on my face for a while and I want this one to go and not come back. I am putting some Tea Tree Oil for the moment (but it did not stop it from growing), and my face is properly hydrated (not too much, not too less).
Anyone has some ideas to make the skin go back to normal size, and for the white stuff to go?
Your skin knows how to take care of itself, you just need to be patient. Besides, if it's just one single pimple, why risk scarring when you can wait for a couple of days for it to dry out by itself?
Mostly because I can not show up at work with such big pustules full of puss. I am still there, 3 years after. This is terribly frustrating. Acne has been a curse during my teenage years. I had all sorts of nicknames. Now I'm in my mid-30s and I'm still fighting large cystic pustules. Don't know what to do. My derm took a sample. We'll see what's really inside.
