Hi there,
I've been trying to find a moisturiser like most people who suffer acne, that doesn't aggravate or worsen current acne.
I found these 3 products which by reviews seems to be promising, does anyone have any experience with them at all?
Jojoba Golden Oil - 100% Pure Cold Pressed

Aveeno Active Naturals Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturizer

- Helps prevent sunburn.
- Higher SPF gives more sunburn protection.
- Provides high protection against sunburn.
- For skin highly sensitive to sunburn.
- For great, healthy-looking skin, you have to protect what you love. Sun exposure, free-radicals, environmental toxins and a hectic lifestyle can rob your skin of essential nourishment, resulting in noticeably stressed skin. Formulated with antioxidant Southernwood extract, Smart Essentials daily nourishing moisturizer with SPF 30 helps keep whats good for your skin in and whats bad out, replenishing and helping to protect your skin wherever the day takes you.
Also, cany anyone reccomend a sun screen perfect for those who suffer acne? I'm going to be using Isotrexin soon and I'll be needing some UV protection.
Thanks
Jojoba oil is great because of all oils, chemically it most closely mimics human sebum. Some people use as a stand-alone moisturizer but it can be a little greasy so my personal favorite way to use is mixing several drops in with my moisturizer.
As far as moisturizers...I swear by Dan's moisturizer! It's perfect for acne and clog-prone skin. It's nongreasy, noncomedogenic, and dries with a matte finish. It also contains licorice root extract which is very soothing for sensitive skin. I don't get acne much anymore but I still use this product every day to keep my skin healthy and soft. I just love it!
Sunscreens...I'd choose an SPF moisturizer for the face, such as Neutrogena Oil-Free with SPF 15.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

Hey! Thanks for commenting, Is that Dan's moisturiser as in from the Acne.org shop moisturise department ?
these ones? https://store.acne.org/moisturizer
What do you mix with the Jojoba oil?
Thanks
Yes, I was referring to the Acne.Org moisturizer on this site. When used in conjunction with jojoba oil, it works really well for dry skin from acne treatments!
I am a big believer that oils can work wonders for skin, so I tried many of them over the years. However, jojoba was never my favourite. Don't think it ever broke me out, but it felt very greasy and didn't absorb well. I highly suggest researching and trying hemp seed oil. That's been my to-go moisturizer for almost 5 months now and it's the best thing I've used to moisturize my skin. Absorbs very easily, doesn't feel greasy at all and has a comedogenic rating of 0.
