hello,
here are pictures of my hyperpigmentation.
picture :
cheeks and forehead and jawline(starting from towards the lower cheek).around my nose sides and corners of lips.
they are for two-three reasons :
1)post accutane redness and pigmentation.cause due to side effect(dryness, cracked skin) of accutane.
it has subsided in 6-7 mnths but the tinge and some area of blackish/reddish pigmentation still remains.
pigmentation left thus : post-200657-0-53574400-1371909523_thumb.post-200657-0-35691800-1371909530.jpg
post-200657-0-16335000-1371910293.jpg
2)due to acne/zits/bumps etc.
that is POST-INFLAMMATION HYPERPIGMENTATION.
spots left thus :post-200657-0-67067800-1371910283.jpg
also,
3)i dnt know why but areas aroung the edges(specially corner) of my lips are darker and same goes for areas around the side edges of my nose.
darker areas:post-200657-0-61053100-1371910427_thumb.
any idea why?
does anyone have similar issues?
can anybody suggest any solution ?
thank u in advance!

The dark areas around your mouth and nose maybe a post-inflammatory reaction. It's because of the various topicals which you use/used.Also try to apply a sunblock evenly on your face .People apply sunscreens all over their face and leave some spots such as the nose edges and lip edges. These are the areas which then darken given the poor sun protection.

You can try using lemon juice on these spots. But i remember reading somewhere, where you said lemon juice does more harm to you than good?Maybe try a drop of it ?

And do you often lick your lips or it's sides? Licking lips is a reason why our lips become dark. It's well documented.

A dermatologist once recommended me "Suncote gel".It's probably SPF 30.It's non comedogenic and is gel based. Also one of my friend who has moderate acne uses Kaya sunscreen .Kaya skin care has a whole range of products for acne afflicted individuals.(Both men and women). You can try it.

Apply a fatty acid or oil that is less than C10 or more than C25.

In plain English, apply Aloe Vera (less than C10) or petrolatum (e.g., Aquaphor a commercial product, which is C25 to C 30).

Or apply yogurt if you're holistic.

"C" refers to "carbon chain" numbers, which is how oils and fatty acids are characterized.
