Hello,
I have attached some pictures of my cheeks. I had clear skin on my cheeks before but now it is itchy and sometimes has red bumps which are super itchy.
Also sometimes yellow/white bumps appear which sometimes are itchy. I try not to scratch my face but it's really itchy. Also I have very large pores? I don't know what is wrong with my skin.
Any recommendation of what condition my cheeks are and how to make it better like for example what medicine or creams?
Anyone know if this is acne/Rosacea/eczema or anything else? Thanks!
Looks like rosacea to me, that itchy redness across my cheeks with extra-itchy bumps like yours is the same for me when I flare, and it has recently been diagnosed as rosacea. I have been put on the standard treatment to start - doxycycline for 4-6 weeks. In addition, my doctor (GP) recommendedalight film of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide across my cheeks at night. It's improving slowly after 3 weeks of this treatment.
Hope you have found something that has worked for your condition, I do not know yet whether this regimen will work completely for mine.
The skin is definitely irritated. I dont know if I would call it rosacea though. It is pretty hard to diagnose anything by looking at one picture. But from what you are describing it seems like doing something for your skin is drastically needed. Have you tried any anti redness creams to help calm down your skin? The cream will relax your pores and take away itching and other irritation.
