Sorry, new to this kinda thing. Still confused on what kind of scars I have. Do know they're really dark though. As of right now, all I'm doing is washing my face with a cleanser, exfoliating dead skin every morning and night with a warm moist face towel (like the towels you get from the store, not the packaged ones), occasionally (not lately though) using witch hazel (really improved my skin texture), some vitamin c serum that brightens the skin, and some moisturizer.

And that's about it! Here are some pics for some observation.

The pictures are a bit grainy but it looks like some of them are active pimples. How long have you had them?

oh hi, yes. I actually had the one on the left cheek one two weeks ago (it's totally healed and there is not bump whatsoever). the one probably on my chin is the pimple but it's not very worrying because it's healing and it's decreased and no longer hurts. but as far as I know, all of them are pretty much just scars that haven't faded. they're just spots of darker color from the dark ages! :)

Sorry for the late-ish reply, but these red marks will fade in a few months or so, depending how severe it is. If it lasts more than six months, it's still an active pimple and you need to treat appropriately.

A lot of people on this site have successfully lightened and/or gotten rid of their (PIH) post inflammatory hyperpigmentation by topically using apple cider vinegar as well as internally taking it. I've started using an apple cider vinegar toner this past week and have noticed a big difference. My acne marks are very similar to yours and they are fading quite well with topical application (50% ACV and 50% water). On top of this, I have been using lavender essential oil and jojoba oil to moisturize and calm any redness/inflammation/itchiness. Also, you can add green tea to this toner or just customize it to your liking. The green tea will lighten the marks and those antioxidants are an added bonus! ;) Most importantly, time is the biggest healer of all! Good luck :)

This is a list of things that can help

Vitamin C and glycerin serum.

An AHA gel or cream.

Rubbing raw potato slices to dark areas.

Chemical peels like lactic acid.

These are all work very well and pretty fast.
