Hi everyone!

Can anyone give me some advice regarding the solution to remove this type of scar (raised scar) permanently?

This scar is not cause by acne. This scar is cause by some peeling cream to remove moles, my mum accidentally apply to much on my skin and during the recovery period my skin form this type of scar. The scar age is quite old, more than 10 years. Can fraxel laser remove it? Or maybe by surgery cut it off?

You could try wearing a silicone sheet for a few months, and if that doesn't help, consult a plastic surgeon if it could be revised.

Hi austra, thanks for the advice. I just googled about silicone sheet and I'll try to get one tomorrow.

Yeah and if that doesn't work you can always have that scar cut out and made thinner with a plastic surgeon. That should be easy to fix!

Dudley is right, wrong forum. But I also hear good things about cortisone injections... might be worth asking in the hypertrophic scar forum.
