Hey everyone, I've been a acne.org lurker for a while now and thought I'd finally make an account to share a couple things. I promised myself that if I found a "cure" for my acne that I'd been suffering with for a long time that I'd share it on here with the hopes of helping someone else. Well, it's not a cure, but ACV has changed my life. I'm sure you've heard all about it as I did before I tried it. I thought it was bullshit but was at the point where I had no other options, so I tried it out. I drink 2 tablespoons a day and use it as a toner 1-2 times a day. I wanted to quit after 2 weeks because things only got worse. I stuck with it and started seeing results after a month. My skin tone was becoming even, my red marks were fading fast and my acne was starting to reduce. I'd say it took 2 months to see the "full" effects. My skin looks better than it has in 8 years (I'm 22). I've been to dermatologists over and over and tried so many expensive products, but ironically the cheapest one is the one that worked. Make sure to get Bragg's brand ACV with "the mother". Anyways, I just wanted to share this just in case I could help anyone struggling. These types of forums always helped me cope with my acne and I hope some of you will give ACV a try if nothing else has worked. If you start it, be sure to be patient and give it time to work, that is key. It won't work for everyone, but you've got nothing to lose, and it works well for 80% of people that I know who have tried it. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
I have started to drink apple cider vinegar and use it as a toner but I am finding it to be very harsh on my skin.
Do you mix it with water or put it on undiluted?
I have been drinking it for 2 weeks now and I am kind of finding it to make it worse
A recommendation of mine is colloidal silver gel (amazing!) And for woman: Herbal hormone supplements!
Also drinking heaps of herbal tea/ water and eating extremely healthy is the biggest help.
Maybe getting acne isn't such a bad thing so we can all start living healthier lifestyles?
