Very promising but of what use is it going to be to you right now? This was just a pilot study, its going to have to be repeated many times over many years to meet FDA safety and efficacy standards because stem cell therapy has potentially dangerous side-effects:
A major challenge posed by SC therapy is the need to ensure their efficacy and safety. Cells manufactured in large quantities outside their natural environment in the human body can become ineffective or dangerous and produce significant adverse effects, such as tumors, severe immune reactions, or growth of unwanted tissue.

There is a plastic surgeon in my area who works since 2 o 3 years ago with stem cells from fat. He offered to use stam cells with me. He uses a device from the GID Group. Embrionic stem cells can cause problems but I never heared one from fat stem cells. By the way, fat has greater density of stem cells and also they are a kind of SC better than the ones in bone marrow.
