Hey everyone.
Through a combination of the acne.org regimen and not eating fried foods my skin is finally, finally, finally clear once and far all. I'm really happy about how I look for the first time in four years.
Now since my skin is clear, I have to deal with the scars. I think it's pretty minor, but I just don't want to be reminded of how bad I felt for months. Between December of 2015 and May of 2016 was the worst experience of my life. I have never, ever come close to feeling that awful. I wouldn't wish the way I felt on anyone.
I was hoping someone could tell me what type of scars I have, and the best way I could go about treating them. I would much prefer treating them at home by myself. The dermatologist I saw I honestly think was a sociopathic lunatic who didn't actually care about patients and was more concerned about scamming people.
Possibly a moronic question, would it even be a dermatologist? I could go to someone for treatment as long as it's not a dermatologist. If it was a doctor, that'd be fine but not preferable.
Seeing a dermatologist is out of the question.
Thanks.
I can't tell from that pic quality, ... blurry / pixalated. I need to see shadows made by the scars with a flashlight.
I am guessing here but icepics and boxcars. I see prominent lines made by the Frontalis muscle which is normal.
If you don't want to see aesthetic derm not a normal "general" derm or plastic surgeon. Your choices are derminator which is a micro needling machine, and TCA peels / TCA - Cross. The ice pics are best treated with TCA cross, and the box cars by Spot TCA peels and microneedling them when that heals. For all the information of what all that means and how to do it, see the below faq link in my signature (below).
