Looks like atrophic to me. Probably subcision. I would recommend going testing a few spots. Aside from a moderately sized area, you have good texture though. I have way, way worse texture.

cannula subcision, look for a specialist who has good scar release skills, I was able to use his own blood as a filler with the Chinese cupping method,
apart from saving you some money, blood has nutrients and tends to create scar tissue,
what we are looking for is break the ties that pull the scar down, hopefully the blood used as a spacer can create scar tissue and level the depressions down to a more superficial level

Maybe you need 3 or 4 spaced out in time, to finish the phenol could give you the best results.

Yes that is the ideal option in your case , since scarring is widespread but rolling. You can try extensive cannula sucision and sculptra filler. Need atleast 6 weeks to start seeing results. Make sure sculptra is diluted and injected throughout the cheek through single insertion point.

His own blood? The doctors blood? Or do you mean your own?

By the way, if you do subcision + laser to lessen the scar's edges, how much time to wait until you can do stuff such as chinese suction cup? Otherwise, how do you prevent retethering? What's your take on this?
