Had this acne scar for several years and am now looking for ways to treat it. Anyone personally think they know a good treatment plan or suggestions for this type of scar? I'm located in the Greater Boston, MA area if someone knows a good dermatologist recommendation.
This is a good question and now I'm curious what you might try and how it goes. If I'm riffing I'd say some options might be:
- Subcision (with suction) - as a start
- TCA CROSS
- Filler (I like analogous fat as an option for that personally)
- Doing nothing - it looks kinda cool and gives you character IMHO
I would recommend Subcision and manual micro needling by an experienced physician. I dont think lasers are going to help with your type of scars, so I wouldnt waste your money if they try to push it. They could also scar you worse. Yours arent that bad that you need to risk too much. Subcision and micro needling needs 4-6 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart for best results. You are probably going to need to leave Boston for best Physician. Closest expert to you would be Dr Novick in NYC
