Cerave Clogging Pores...moisturizer Help?

Hello all -

I have been using Paula's Choice 2% gel and have been really liking the product so far. It's been a few weeks now. A couple months before I switched to Paula's, I stopped using Dan's moisturizer and starting using CeraVe.

I am getting tiny little clogged pores/whiteheads all over my face in random areas every day. Does anyone have experience with the Cerave moisturizing lotion causing this? (the one in the white push pump bottle with blue label).

I love the product but am worried it is causing my breakouts, and I believe they are caused by the moisturizer rather than Paula's.

Your advice or personal experience would really help!

CeraVe and Cetaphil do the same thing to many people. What made you stop using Dan's moisturizer? Was it breaking you out? If not, I would suggest buying it again and not taking the chance of ruining your skin by trying to save a few bucks.

Thanks for the reply. I stopped Dan's regimen because it worked for me for months but then stopped working for a while so I stopped the regimen completely. I stopped using his moisturizer I think because

I guess I was just trying to see if that regimen was the culprit and included the moisturizer in there.

Cross-check the moisturizer's ingredients with a site like http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm .

I actually purchased Dan's moisturizer because I suspected that mine, Neutrogena, was clogging my pores. I still have clogged pores but it's not nearly as bad.

But like I and someone else said on your other thread, PC caused skin problems for us and has for other people too. Some people have great success with it, others don't.

Yeah I actually stopped using her 2% gel and my skin has calmed down a lot. I still have some stubborn clogged pores on my chin. Just can't figure out what causes them.
