My acne started to get uncontrollably bad around freshman year of highschool and im a senior today. I could go for days telling you the things ive tried, internal and externally. But i have finally came across an at home treatment that is working great so far since i started on the 18th of November 2013. I found out a bout it from a math tutor of mine of indian descent that also suffers from acne. My junior year i remember her acne being a lot worse than it is today. She came as an absolute blessing to my life in my treatment of what i thought at times was uncontrollable pimples and breakouts. She asked me one day as i was being tutored if i noticed any improvements in her skin, and indeed i did. So she was caring enough to give me her extremely cheap, easy to make, but foreign treatment with indian spices ive never heard of but are completely natural. NATURAL is KEY people. After she had written what i needed down along with the address to get it i had to wait about a month to get it due to my moms car problems, and my dads work schedule and mine along with my social life never fitting eachother. But to get to the point i started using it a little under two weeks ago and BOY O BOY i think ive finally found my breakthrough. I use it every night but missed two nights recently due to me being over a buddys house which involved lots of junk food which resulted in a small pimple on my chin. I have more hyperpigmentations/scars than acne and after my breakouts vanished im beginning to notice my scars fading slowly but surely. I felt it was only my duty to share whats finally helping me through my lasting struggles with the rest of the sufferers.Thank God for the internet. Now for the recipe and routine.

INGREDIENTS:

1. Turmeric powder

2. Moong Dal powder

3. Fenugreek seeds

4. Almond Milk

RECIPE:

Take a teasopoon of Moong Dal, 1/4th a teaspoon of Turmeric, a teaspoon of crushed fenugreek seeds (i have a grinder fortunatley), and two teaspoons of Almond milk. Mix it all in a bowl then apply to face by scrubbing SOFTLY for 1 minute, then leave on for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes is up wash off with warm water. ONLY DO AT NIGHT BEFORE BED. GOD BLESS AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ITS WORKING FOR YOU. I'LL CHECK BACK IN A WEEK OR 2. DONT TAKE THIS ONE FOR GRANTED PEOPLE. THE INDIANS KNOW WHATSUP!

yes, yes. it helps to be open to other ways of healing the skin (and other cultures).

i recall reading about indian women using chickpea flour (mixed with other ingredients) to cleanse their skin.

even though i used the chickpea flour cleanser for at least a month (with success), i decided to purchase an herbal ayurvedic cleanser from bindi.com to cleanse my skin (because i wanted to try something new).

the chickpea flour mixed with water, clay or a bit of apple cider vinegar works well though.
