Hi.
I am 14 years old and I have moderate acne on my face, back and chest.
I'm using Duac, a special shower gel and oral tablets and since seeing a dermatologist, my skin is getting better.
However, I have a white raised spot on my cheek and I have no clue what it is.
I'm 95% sure its not 'milia' and doubt it is a white head as there is no redness around it and it's a little too big to be one.
I have had one of these spots on the other side of my face before and I although it was extremely to hard to squeeze and get rid of, I was able to as it was above my cheekbone. But, this might be slightly different - I don't know.
However, this spot has been impossible to get rid of as there is no bone behind it and its in an awkward place, in the centre of my cheek. I've had it for several weeks now.
If anyone has had this type of spot before and can help me, that would be great!
Thanks!!
P.S. The photo might make the spot look a bit inflamed and red, but that is because I've been picking at it for the last 10 minutes, usually it is white with no redness.
Nexcare acne patches are great for draining stuff out of spots like this. You could apply heat to the spot and then apply the patch overnight and it might help.
