Hello everyone,I am writing this from beach;not swimming or sunbathing but writing this.. I feel desperate and I am really confused. Right now I am dealing with a breakout and it doesn't seem like healing for days.
. I am 15 years old and as a teenager I know that it is common and totally normal to have a few zits sometimes. But this breakout is not healing or at least if not healing,I wish it could stop producing new acnes. For two weeks,my face is not clean. It always has a few whiteheads, blind pimples, black heads and red bumps. For this period of time it became clear for once and after that 4 whiteheads appeared immediately. Right now I have three whiteheads on my forehead and a little another on my chin. This amount of time might sound nothing to you but really, I stay clear for like two days and then I have acne all the time. But those ones are really tough to handle and also my skin is fair so whatever I have always seems worse.Anyways I have some questions,if any of you can answer them I would be really greatful.
First of all what should I do? Are there any remedies which can make them heal faster? Something effective?
. Can popping pimples cause new pimples? Because I think it might be..
. Is sea make acne heal faster? I figured out that salty water make them heal especially the ones which has popped.
. Is sun make breakouts better or worse? I use non-cosmetic sun cream which suggested by dermatologist anyways but I wonder just for in case.
I hope you can help me,thanks for your help already..

The breakouts you are describing don't sound too severe, luckily, but I understand how frustrating it is. Yes, you are at about the right age for teenage acne to be rearing it's ugly head. I would suggest making sure you aren't using any products which can clog pores. You should be using sunscreen, but make sure it is sunscreen designed specifically for the face. A BP regimen will also be quite helpful - this site has one but there are others that might be more accessible to you.

Yes. Unless you are using very specific antiseptic methods, popping pimples can increase inflammation and spread bacteria, causing new pimples to form. There are ways to pop pimples that reduce the chances of this happening, but you are probably better off avoiding it.

It depends. The salt in the sea water might help dry out the pimples and is naturally exfoliating, but it is also usually also teaming with bacteria and pollutants that might aggravate your skin. Either way, it is a good idea to rinse off after you finish swimming.

Some people say that their skin improves after sun exposure, but all in all, sun really isn't good for your skin. It can make discoloration and red marks worse, and can increase inflammation. Moderate amounts of sun exposure is fine, but keep wearing your sunscreen and stay in the shade the majority of the time.
@megtree Thank you so much for your quote! I am currently using aknilox %2 gel,I don't know if you know that one and my sun cream is Avene . I hope this break out is not permanent, thank you so much again, you really helped me
Try eliminating dairy from your diet and consume more water -- aim for 90 ounces +
If you find your breakouts are hormonal, you can try birth control -- but there are also other supplements on the market that can help with hormonal imbalances w/o the need of birth control. I would recommend seeing a naturopath if you want to go the supplement/herbalist route.
Dairy and acne have been linked time and time again. I also suggest eating better overall; raw fruits and vegetables, minimal animal products, and again, lots of water (absolutely no soda, sugary foods, or fruit juices unless...they are freshly pressed).
Time and time again I suggest changing your lifestyle before resulting to antibiotics or birth control.
