I had a friend tell me aboutElegant Minerals Makeup They're not a lotion or anything but it'll help your skin look even and it won't make you break out like the OTC makeup junk. It tried it and so far so good.

surprisingly cheap and drugstore product: johnson&johnson first aid cream. mine fade a million times faster with this on overnight.

also:

aspirin mask. fades so well.

6 aspirin tablets melt in 1 tbsp water. apply 2x a week. miracle mask.

Obagi Nu-Derm System: A bit pricey but does a really good job if you stick to it. It takes a little while to get your skin used to it. I can't wait to finish accutane so I can go back on Obagi. I discovered the product through my dermatologist.

Your pinned posts are kind of confusing. I mean this post recommends things like jojoba oil and chemical peels, suggesting that red marks are just a surface problem, while the other pinned topic (red mark information) says that red-marks are due to broken capillaries and are not a pigmentation problem, so laser is the only real way to fix them.

Just thought I'd bring up the fact that the pinned posts are a bit contradictory....

has anyone tried bp with cp serum and exfol serum?

i think bp is the reason why i have post hyper pigmentation after every bump that appears on my face, but it does keep me clear, i am wondering if the bp in combination with the skin bio products will reduce the effects or "over ride" the effects in the cp's as in not clear my post hyper pigmentation faster....thats why i am using the cp's because i still do have mild break outs

When used correctly pure Glycolic acid 30% - 50% is the BEST product to use for red marks and smaller scars.

The temporary redness of the treated area which lasts for a few days is a downside, but the result is perfect new skin.

Hello!

I've noticed that APPLE CIDER VINEGAR is casually mentioned in this thread a few times, but I have to tell you my experience with it!! It is the Best thing ever! I have been living with horrible red marks from acne since I was 13 (that's 15 years) ! First I get acne then afterwards it turns red for several months then fades to brown and goes away eventually.

Now for the Kicker!!! I started using ACV just three months ago and all my previous redness is completely gone!!! It is so amazing that on acne free days I even contemplate leaving the house without foundation! That is something I never would have considered before!

Look you guys. You don't have to spend all that money on those chemical products! Just use APV and you will see amazing results!!

Just make a mixture of 1 part ACV and 8 parts water and rinse face 1-2 times a day with the solution.

I hope this helps everyone! :D

can Apple Cider Vinegar cause break outs?

from my experience, it didnt, a couple of spots might have come up while i applied to my face but i dont think it was a result of the ACV. I now drink it though....

Best product is still to use AHA or BHA peels then an agent that hastens the regeneration of cell repair and collagen. Agents or products that hastens cell repair are topical ascorbic acid and copper peptides. topical ascorbic acid is cheap and effective specially if you make it at home. check out my block for instructions how to make one.
