Pros:

Cons:

AHA burns a little and the scents of all the products arent good. but that would probablly irritate others skin.

Good products which are better price and you get more for your money

Pros:

Feels great on skin & does not break skin out.
Started working from the first day of use.
Great price (much lower than store bought products, even with shipping cost considered).

Cons:

Has to be ordered.
Shipping cost (although appropriately priced for weight of product).
I can definitely live with the cons, as they are so minor!

Dan's regimen & products are AMAZING! I am 35, & have struggled with acne since my teens. NOTHING has worked for me. I eat healthy, exercise, & drink 12-16 8-oz. glasses of water/ day. I NEVER drink soda, & rarely (maybe 3-4 times/ year) have caffeine. When I was 19 & 20, my skin did clear up. However, during my 1st pregnancy, I began breaking out again. For the past 15 yrs, I have struggled with acne, & have tried EVERYTHING; from expensive to inexpensive, antibiotics (not Accutane) to holistic approaches. Each time I would go to my primary Dr. for illness, etc., she would mention my acne. That is WITH my makeup on. Believe me, I learned a great deal about makeup & concealing (as I was having to live with the acne). This is the 1st time that my acne has cleared in, again, 15 yrs. I currently do not take anything other than vitamins (Zinc-40mg 2x/day, Niacin-750 mg 2x/ day, Folate-350 mcg 2x/day, Copper-2 mg 2x/day, & Omega-3 fish oil 1x/ day. I highly recommend Dan's products!

Pros:

Didn't dry me out too much
Wasn't harsh or too exfoliating (like most drug store body washes)
Worked FAST
Still keeps my skin clean and smooth

Cons:

None

This product is awesome...it's cheap, easy to get and works like a charm. I had light-moderate face, back and chest acne and this cleared it up quickly. I used it in combination with the AHA+, which was a great compliment to this product. My derm had put me on tons of pills, all of which seemed to make my acne worse, and I can safely say that going off those pills and taking a chance on these products was a smart decision. My face is now acne free (knock on wood!) and the acne on my chest and back are now light scars, which are clearing up well.

Pros:

cleanses well
removes all dirt, oils, etc
doesn't smell bad
has a pump
only need about half a pump
lathers well

Cons:

VERY drying!
tight skin after, need a very good moisturizer

it would be a great cleanser if it didn't dry my skin out so much. even the acne.org moisturizer wasn't enough to combat the dryness from this and the BP after it. having to put on the BP after my skin had been stripped of all its moisture was awful. i had to switch my facial cleanser but i still use this for washing body acne and bacne

Pros:

-Lathers well
-Leaves skin feeling SO CLEAN!
-Removes light makeup (not eye-makeup, just a light layer of concealer and/or powder)
-Good price

Cons:

-Could possibly be drying if not used with a moisturizer

I absolutely love this cleanser! It leaves my skin feeling so clean, and even removes makeup on the days that I wear it. Dan's Regimen has worked so well for me that even if I found a better cleanser (which is unlikely), I'd probably keep buying this one just because the proceeds benefit Acne.org--a cause I definitely support! Great work Dan!

Pros:

Mild fragrance, nice consistency, cleanses my face well, doesn't over-dry.

I love this face wash. You can't find many cleansers like this in stores... dye-free, no medicine added. I am almost through my 8 oz bottle. I didn't order a new one because I picked up some Cetaphil at the store and am going to try that for a while to see if it works as well as this. If it doesn't, I am certainly going back to this. Fantastic product.

Pros:

Simple and effective. Removes all makeup in a jiffy and leaves my face feeling clean and fresh with no fuss. Cleans thoroughly but without stripping. Tough, but gentle - a perfect balance that I've been looking for.

Cons:

None that I've found.

This is an outstanding value. I can't believe how long it lasts and how well it works for the price. Simple, tasteful packaging that you aren't embarrassed to have in plain site. No fuss and extremely effective.

Pros:

DKR Gentle Cleanser is excellent w/ DKRegime.
Very nice feel after usage. Gentle and does not overdry. Follow the video to learn how to use the cleansers Dan's way.

Cons:

The price--$9.50 plus tax and shipping =(

This is what I do: splash luke warm water onto face. Then 2 pumps of cleanser onto hands, lather well, gently apply to face for 10 seconds or less, and wash off gently w/ luke water. After that gently wash off a few times with cold water to close your pores. Wait 10min. or 5min. if not enough time. Apply Dan's BP. Wait 10min. Then Cetaphil moisturizer.

Great cleanser with 1 really bad ingredient!!
I loved this cleanser (and the entire 3 step process). However, about 4 months after using the products on a daily basis i developed contact dermatitis. My eyelids were red, itchy, scaly and dry. It looked like I had eczema. I thought it was being caused by my eye make-up; either the shadow or the liquid liner. I stopped using them but the problem continued. I did some research and found that one of the top allergens that cause this type of dermatitis is quaternium-15. I began looking through all ingredients on the products I used daily. The only product this showed up in was the acne.org facial cleanser. I stopped using it immediately and within 3 days my eyes had cleared up. The cleaner was a great product and I'm disappointed I can no longer use it. However, acne.org may want to consider removing this awful chemical. I have seen other posts where people complained of the same type issues but assumed it was the benzoyl peroxide gel. It's not! It's definitely the cleanser.
