Neutrogena produces GREAT products anyway...but it is best to use Benzoyl Peroxide at night, versus during the day. Salicylic acid should be used during the day...and make sure to moisturize with a built-in sunscreen. Overall, this stuff works :) It made my skin not shiny, but RADIANT :) good luck.

Pros:

Felt refreshing on skin...Gave me some hope that it would work in clearing up my breakout.

Cons:

WAY too harsh for sensitive skin.

It cleared up some of my breakouts for a couple of days but then it lashed back and (just like some person below) made me get soo many little bumps all over my forehead, cheeks, and around my jawline. And it did the exact same thing to my friend who used it! I don't know what to do because the bumps are much more stubborn than single larger zits I used to get. It made things a lot worse...does anyone know how to get rid of all the little bumps?? I stopped using this stuff a long time ago and I switched to much gentler things, which haven't kept me completely clear, but have soothed things down...I wouldn't recommend this at all...

Pros:

Feels good and clean on the skin, for both cleanser and mask. Gets rid of acne and clears up skin. When used with good moisturizer, skin is incredibly soft. Eliminates oil.

Cons:

A little too small but the key is to use a little bit because:
a) you will run out
b) in this case, less is well...less acne!

Great product. Tried it once after I stopped using a 3-step regimin and I freaked out because I thought it would stir up acne again but no - it worked better! My skin is clear, especially my forehead and cheeks. Every morning when I use it, I just rub the back of my hand over my skin - incredibly smooth! But don't buy this if you have: - sensitive skin in general - are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide - all your previous products that worked for you used salycylic acid

Pros:

helps clear up acne and blackheads

Cons:

drying

I don't really use this as a mask, I use it more as a treatment. I will put some on my nose and the areas I tend to get oily and breakout most often and leave it on overnight. It helps to keep acne away and clear it up sooner, and helps to keep my nose freer of blackheads. I use it in combination with other things, like Mama Lotion. I used it before getting Mama Lotion and while it didn't clear it up totally it certainly helped. Can be drying. I don't have sensetive skin, and any number of acne clearing products I've tried has not really dried out or irritated my skin. This, however, did dry out the skin around my nose, so I had to cut back on using it.

Bad
I don't like the consistency of this product. It logged my pores and didn't wash off my makeup. This also didn't clear any of my acne, but caused breakouts. I am not one to even get breakouts.

Great product...but there are some drawbacks.
I am a 22 year old woman with oily skin...pimples in chin area mostly. I also have sensitive skin. I've been trying this product for about a month and it's one of the best I've tried! I use it as a mask most of the time....great! But there are some things you should know. -can dry out your face afterwords. I use clean & clear gel moisturizer after and it feels better within minutes. (Pat the moisturizer on instead of rubbing it in). -it bleaches fabric when you pat it off your face...use a white rag and the problem is solved! Overall I've noticed a huge reduction with my oily skin and it's awesome! Hope this helps :)

Stay away

Pros:

None

Cons:

Irritating and inflammatory
Causes skin to be more oily over time
Can't be used regularly or it will increase acne

This is so drying that over time it leads to more oil being produced on the skin. Probably fine once in a while for mild T-zone acne. If used regularly it will increase acne.

Pros:

-draws out excess oil
-after a few weeks of continuous use, definitely helped clear up my acne
-cost effective

Cons:

-can leave skin feeling very dry (use a moisturizer)

I've struggled with moderate acne for years, which became more severe in my late teens and early twenties. I've finally found a combination which works for my skin and has left me almost CLEAR. Now still contending with those acne scars.. My regimen: Night: SebaMed Liquid face/body wash Neutrogena Clear Pore Body Shop Vitamin E moisturizer Morning: Body Shop Vitamin E gentle cleanser The Neutrogena Clear Pore really attacks the impurities and "medicates", while the other cleansers are gentle enough for my skin while at the same time cleansing skin. Try it!
