Pros:

REALLY GOOD. Clears skin maybe takes a few weeks to see the results & most importantly works like a magic cream!
DOES NOT DRY SKIN. perfect

Cons:

No bad cons whats so ever.
But I reckon the worst thing is you need to discard it after 2 months.
Being in a bigger tube and a cheaper price would be good.

I'm 16 years of age. I have had acne ever since I was 13. and trust me I know the last 3 years of my life, suffering from acne have been the worst. I HAD SPOTS ALL OVER MY FACE. I was so shy to even clip my fringe up cos of how much acne I had on my forhead. EVERWHERE on my face, Yes I have tried all the face scrubs out there all the home remedies literally popped everything that apparently 'got rid of pimples' onto my face. I followed almost every single tip that was on the net written by professionals! NEVER wearing make up. Caring like Moisturising, toner, masking exfoliating 2-3 times a week. I DID IT ALL. But nothing ever worked no progress whats so ever. Until I met Duac. Duac was reccomended by my doctor when I first started using it, I could feel that my face was getting lighter. less red patches and less spots, but it took awhile but I maintained applying every night. After 2 weeks my face imporved so much! IT WAS A MIRACLE I have never ever seen clear patches on my face and it was the best feeling. Going to school getting so much compliments about how my skin changed. And I had the confidence to clip my fringe up! I've stopped using duac, probably been two months now. I just wanted to see what it is like if I stop using it. My pimples actually came back. BUT. no longer severe I dont have red patches its just little spots that you can't barely see. I guess they will go away after time. BUT if you want your pimples to settle down? GO AHEAD AND TRY IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

Cleared up minor breakouts immediately. Maintains clear skin. Easy to apply. Little to no irritation. One of the best topicals available.

Cons:

Minor drying.

I have used many topicals over the years and Duac is the only one that has shown dramatic results. It is expensive, but in my opinion it is well worth the cost. My dermatologist said that many of her patients have had great success with Duac and she did not hesitate to prescribe it.

Pros:

-works very quickly

Cons:

-only works on pimples, doesnt work on cysts
-extreme redness (which makes you look like you have a sunburn)
-dryness
-extreme irritation i.e. itchiness

ive used this product for nearly 3 years; the bottom line is that it works, and helps kill your acne, but you have to be consistent with it i.e. you have to apply it daily or you will get new pimples. it helps reduce pimples but doesnt prevent breakups. also if you are light-skinned like me, then you have an excellent chance of looking like a tomato

Pros:

Gets those little bumps well, prevents acne

Cons:

Not a good spot treatment, dries out your skin, irritating

It gets rid of those pesky little bumps over night. It's not a miracle when it comes to those big red pimples. It does help it, but it doesn't make it shrink significantly. It also made my eyes puffy when I used too much the first time. I have really sensitive skin so it can be irritating. It dries out your skin, so you're gonna need a lot of moisturizer.

Pros:

- Clears up acne
- For me, it doesn't really smell
- Dries up really well on your skin
- Clears black heads

Cons:

According to my experience, this stuff made my face RED RED RED RED --- BUT ONLY IN THE SUMMER OR WHILE RUNNING (ANYTIME), EXERCISING, AND ESPECIALLY EMBARRASSING MOMENTS!!!! ( But hey, everyone's skin is different :) )
- Doesn't remove red marks :(
- Doesn't stop new acne from forming!!
- Makes you really dry :(

This stuff I GUESS is pretty good for acne. Everyone will have a different experience but from my experience---- this did not make me 100% or even 90% clear. I have moderately severe acne and for the year that I was on this medication, it probably cleared me up 80-85%.It was weird because while I had this stuff on my face, it seemed to make my skin look a tad bit clearer compared to my skin without this stuff on it. But did it clear my little pimples? Yes. Did it clear my kinda big cystic like pimples? Sort of, but it always left a nasty NASTY red mark that would stay for 213254478 days. Did it ever stop giving me pimples? Heck no!!!!...But I did notice that the longer (and I mean LONGER) you stay on it the more it I guess will help your skin. And the most discouraging thing of all for me was that it made me FRICKEN red. Red like a tomato (NO JOKE). Especially in the summer. People would make fun of me and ask me why I was so red? When I would participate in gym (we had to run track) my face would swell up and beat like a heart And the redness that I had no control over was that resulted from being embarrassed. Like for example if someone accused me of something and I DID NOT do it but I knew people were watching me, my face would swell up and it made it look like I really did do it. The thing that hit me the most was when I overheard some girls at my school during lunch say "Oh my GOD!!!...LOOK AT HER FACE LOOK AT HER FACE"

Pros:

It Works for me.Skin not perfect, but i look normal teen with very slight acne now.
Pimples, bumps, and even Blackheads all visually reduced within first week.
Skin feels smooth and soft, Not like a Brail book.
When used as directed, faithfully,it cleared skin.
Do not notice the bleaching like what other BP products caused on clothes and pillowcase.

Cons:

First week Skin very dry and redness increased (Both Faded Past Week Two).
Refridgeration required. If not followed faithfully as directed (Skipping treatments for weekend ; 0 ) acne flares up close to pre-treatment stage.YIKES.
Cost without insurance is high.

I have been using this for almost three months.I feel great now. My skin was covered with zits, bumps, and huge blackheads before.I still have maybe a zit a week but that is great compared to what it was! My acne was horrible! Had people teasing me about it.Now they ask what i'm using cause they want clear skin also! Do not miss treatment, learned the hard way. Wonderful product for me.The cost with insurance is affordable, without about $170 monthly.

Pros:

-It helped clear a spot on my face pretty quickly for me and my brother who even had much worse acne and he was impressed
- It doesn't have a bad smell
- Easy to apply

Cons:

- I personally had an allergic reaction after the third day.
- It bleaches clothes and hair as my doctor warned me.

We are taking Minocycline with Duac as the doctor recommended. It seems that I have to contact my doctor and find a replacement for Duac because I am allergic to it. On the other hand, my brother doesn't have any problem with it and he likes it. I guess it depends on you, overall it is definitely worth a try.

Pros:

Clears up blemishes and really does reduce acne. It is very important though to use a mild face wash such as cetaphil. I was using one containing cylisic acid and it wasn't getting better until I switched.

Cons:

Will dry out skin. Using a good moisturizer is very important. Slight redness, the redness seemed to go away though. Depending on how bad your skin is infected when starting this you may break out worse. This gel goes deep to retrieve bacteria.

Stick with it for at least 2 months then decide if your skin has improved. Mine got much worse at first b/c the medication was getting all the bacteria out. Once your skin starts clearing up stick with it. Taking a break from using it is really bad.
