Pros:

I am a dark skin Indian man, I have had acne since I was 14 and am 25 now. I was prescribed clindoxyl by my doctor, because it was expensive I wanted to read a little about it before I paid for it. After reading a little about it here I went ahead and got it. To my amazement it got rid of all my acne in a week, first I thought it may be a fluke but after 5 months I have not got a single pimple. I use it every night and dont dare to miss applying it ever, I cant belive at last I dont have acne.

Cons:

a little expensive Paid $50 Canadian for it.

For someone who has tried Accutane and a lot of other creams Clindoxyl is a miracle gel. With little or no side affects. It makes sense why you would get pimples back if you quit using this cream. It says in the description for the product that it kills the bacteria that causes the acne and tightens pores if you quit the bacteria continue to grow and cause pimples and pores open up to allow dirt to enter your skin. I have noticed smaller pores in my before and after photos that the Dermatologist took. I hope if you have severe pimples (specially of Indian descent) you talk to your doctor about this. I had even quit masturbating thinking that was the cause of my acne :P

Pros:

Clears up pimples fast~ whether the pimples r on your face, back, neck, shoulders.. this product works ;)

Cons:

bleaches hair
bleaches towels & shirts
THE REASON FOR THIS IS BECAUSE THE PRODUCT HAS "BENZOYL PEROXIDE" WHICH TENDS TO BLEACH THINGS SLIGHTLY but dont worry, your face won't get bleached lol

Well for starters i'm a black person who had severe acne & scars on my face. Some products that work for my friends of other races did not work for me. I found myself paying a whole lotta s#!t on products that didn't work.. but CLINDOXL WORKS! This product is also affordable. The orginial price I had to pay was about $50, but I ended spending $4 because it was already covered. I DON'T RECOMMENDED WEARING MAKEUP (foundation, powder, concealer) ONTOP OF THE GEL.. If you wear makeup during the day... then don't use the gel until you take off your makeup at night time! For me..I put the gel on only ONCE a day. Usually in the evening, then wash my face when i wake up in the morning. :-) lena.

Pros:

Clears Problem Areas for good
gets rid of scarring
Truly effective

Cons:

Only occasional small breakouts
Bleaches towels...only use WHITE ones, trust me.

Clindoxyl has really worked wonders with my skin. I started with proactiv, but it stopped working after a while. This happens with some people, with others it doesn't. I decided that i was fed up with it. I didn't want to keep covering up! then the more pimples I got, the more stressed I was. Which resulted in more pimples. I used to get one pimple every day. Then i would pop and squeeze them, only making them worse. Then I squeezed non-existant ones which resulted in a cut on my face. Not nice. I didn't want to fear looking in the mirror anymore. I wanted to feel good about myself. So, I went to clindoxyl. I was afraid it was going to get worse, so i was hesitant. Then, I took a risk and started using it. guess what? It worked. Of course, when i started treating my acne, it wasnt bad. But i'm convinced that if I left it, it would be out of control. I still break out, but at least It gets better. pms doesnt hlep either...I have insurance for this product.

Works wonders
This product is truly a miracle cream. I suffer from hormonal acne and within a week of using this gel, my acne was almost 90% clear. What I love about is that I didn't experience an ib and it managed to clear the deep under the skin pimples that I had. What's rather unfortunate is that it's been discontinued in my country, South Africa; and no other acne medication works as effectively as clindoxyl gel for my skin.

Hey, I just got mine today. You can find it in Dischem or other pharmacies other than Clicks.

Pros:

Clears up acne fast
Keeps skin clear from zits
A little gel goes a long way
Very effective

Cons:

First 2 weeks skin is dry and flakey
Takes longer for deep acne
Price
Pulls up deep acne (blackheads/whiteheads)

I've been dealing with light acne for about 7 years, it's gotten more severe over the past 2 years. Two months ago i had a horrible breakout, 5 deep zits on one cheek, 4 more on the other side close to my nose, and deep acne on my chin. They were red, angry, and puffy, make up did nothing to cover them. I tried to get rid of them with hydrocortizone cream and nuetrogena cream but it did nothing. I think i didnt go out of the house for 3 weeks, i missed work because of it. So i went to the doctor and he gave me Clindoxyl Gel, cost $56.00. He told me to put it on 2 hours before bed, keep it on for an hour then wash it off with warm water, then gradually have it so you put it on an hour before bed then wash it off in the morning. It took 3 days before i noticed a difference, on the 5th day i could tell my spots were smaller. 2 weeks later my acne was nothing but small red marks, i kept putting the gel on my acne and another 2 weeks it was completely gone. At first the gel drys out your skin pretty bad, but i used Nuetrogena sensitive skin, oil and fragrence free moisturizer, and after 2 weeks the gel didn't dry me out anymore. I put the moisturizer on in the morning after i washed my face with warm water. I've been using it for about a month and a half now and my face is 90% clear and smooth. I've found that the Clindoxyl gel brings out deep, hard, painful acne on my chin sometimes. I think this is just deep dirt in my skin thats it's bringing out and eventually i won't get it anymore. I have seen though that in the first month i was getting a lot of black and white heads, it wasn't a big deal, i would just steam my face and carefully pop/push them out and put some gel on it and i couldnt even tell in the morning. Because i've done this the deep blackheads ive had on my cheeks and forehead for years are gone! I've you are fed up with acne then get this product! Within 3 weeks to a month your skin will be great. Im so happy and confident n

Pros:

It's easy to put on and ive only used this product for 4-5days and I have noticed a huge difference in the overall apperance in my skin.

Cons:

Dries your face, makes it peel slightly, kind of burns sometimes.

I've used this product for 4-5 days and I've noticed a huge difference In the look and feel of my skin. Even though it may hurt sometimes It's TOTALLY worth it. I've tried everything to clear acne from Proactiv to Spectro Gel to Clean and Clear. None of those worked for me, but this is a miracle work for my skin.

Not amazing but it works
For me, I am quite satisfied with the product. It did make my skin more sensitive when I first started using it but as time went by, my skin adjusted. Pros - Works fast (see changes in about a week) - Don't need to apply a lot for it to work Cons - Bleaches fabrics (e.g. towels) - It causes facial redness. For example if you apply it on one spot only on your cheek, that spot will be visibly redder than the rest of your face. - If you stop applying for one day, chances are the acne will come back. - If applied on clear skin (no acne), pimples will surface. - Dries skin but easily fixed by applying moisturizer - Expensive Overall, despite all the cons, I am happy with the product. :)

Pros:

Dries the pimple REALLY FAST
Works

Cons:

Dries skin
Have to wait until the pimple is formed (usually, when you wait until there's a white head, it's better)

I don't know what to say except that it WORKS. I put it before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning, the pimple is almost gone (a normal size pimple). This is just amazing... It cleared all my acne (I only have a few pimples sometimes but hey, I'm 17 :P) and I had A LOT of it! I can't live without this stuff!

Pros:

Improves appearance of blemishes overnight, pleasant smell, nice consistency, dries quickly

Cons:

Bleaches clothing, expensive without insurance.

I wouldn't want to live without Clindoxyl Gel. I was initially prescribed it about 3 years ago as part of an acne regiment that also included Diane-35. I had severe acne over my back and chest, which basically cleared up after about 6 months. I am now off the Diane (have been for about 2 years), and use Clindoxyl as a spot treatment for my light back and facial acne. This stuff is magic for my skin, it significantly improves the appearance of pimples in hours and keeps the breakouts in check. It doesn't prevent my acne - but it gets rid of the spots like no other.

Pros:

Dries out zits
Gets rid of some whiteheads

Cons:

The area that you put it on gets really dry (and i have oily skin)
Leaves a red mark behind
I became immune to it after my 2nd tube

It worked pretty well before i became immune to it, but it REALLY dried my skin up to a point where it was all flaking off, and people were actually noticing and pointing it out to me. Yes I moisturized but that really was no use. Now i have oily skin and i have stopped using it. Overall I think it's a good spot treatment for people with oily skin that aren't sensitive. I recommended it because some people might not become immune, and the people with the oily skin might not get dry skin.
