Pros:

-inexpensive and easily accesible
-calms skin
-reduces redness
-tightens pores

Cons:

none :)

though at first i thought smoothing egg white on my face was odd, i soon decided the benefits were more than worth it! while the egg dries on your face it does make your skin feel tight and possibly slightly itchy for a few minutes, but my skin quickly adapted to the sensation and before long it was barely noticeable. after i had rinsed the mask off, my skin looked instantly smoother and i had a much more even skin tone. even my larger blemishes were smaller and less red! and the best part is: these results lasted all day! so so so happy i tried this :)

Pros:

Tightens pores
Smooths skin
Reduces Acne, redness, and other imperfections
Cool, tingling sensation

Cons:

disgustingly goopy
feels like cement when hardens.

This is a really wonderful solution! I read about trying an egg white mask online, and decided to give it a go. It works wonders, reducing redness and puffiness, and helps clear up my acne! I use it three times a week, and I use every part of the egg. First I separate the egg white and egg yolk, and I set aside the egg yolk in a bowl to be used later. I also keep the shell too! I mix a little bit of honey into the egg whites, and stir until stiff (until bubbles appear). with my fingers I take up a small amount, a rub it all over my face. I then take the shell, and peel off the skin inside and place it over some areas that need extra targeting (ie. blackheads, pimples...) I then wait about 30 min, then wash it off with warm water. Then I take the egg yolk (a natural moisturizer), and with my fingers take up a small amount a rub it all over my face. Wait another 10 to 30 min, I wash it off with warm water. After that I splash my face with cold water or rub an ice cube over my face to reduce the look of pores. This inexpensive treatment really does work wonders!!!! It has really made my face silky smooth, and has radically reduced the appearance of acne and redness.

Pros:

It makes my skin so smooth and pimple free
all i did was whisk some egg whites till foamy lather on my face wait 45 minutes then removed the whites then put on the yolk for 10 minutes and the results were amazing - im 13 and have really bad acne so this helped way better then any face lotion :D

Cons:

While wearing the whites it was so tight and itchy it was almost un-bearable :/

Its the best thing ever for pimples and smooth skin , the tightness and itchiness is all worth it

Favorite acne remedy
I was in my eighth grade health class and my teacher had told us about this remedy. She said, "I can probably count the amount of pimples I've had in my entire life". Hearing this from an adult I trusted, I decided to try it. Her specific directions were to apply as many coats of egg whites to your face as necessary with a makeup brush. Leave that on for about 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water and optionally using your favorite face wash. She told us to follow up by rubbing an ice cube on our face to make the pores close/tighten. I've found it also helps to use a face moisturizer afterward. I've definitely noticed a difference. I do this every Monday night. I would definitely suggest this remedy to anyone with an acne problem.

Pros:

-Tightens pores
-Dries out cysts
-Firms and tones skin

Cons:

-Odor...although I may have gotten yolk into it:/
-Itchy

I used to have Acne, but I no longer do.I first used this after watching MichellePhans video on it.My skin had cysts, although not severe, blackheads and was excessively oily.I used this "recipe" once a week, but I added my own little spin to it,I would add lemon juice,as lemon juice helped further control my extremely oily skin as well as brighten my complexion.I still continue to use this. It's also known for being a wrinkle fighting mask,so hey,why not prevent another problem?lol. It can cause you to be itchy and dry out your skin too much, but overall I recommend it.Simple, cheap, affordable, great for teenagers who have NO budget lol.

Pros:

see results immediately, really cleans my skin up, effectively treats my acne and drastically reduces my pores

Cons:

just the waiting time is 20-25 mins, and it can get annoying not being able to move your face for that long lol

what I do is get a napkin or two, cut them into strips, dip them in the eggwhite and then put them on my face, until ive created a mask, then i let that dry and peel it off, takes off all my dead skin and takes out quite a few black heads at a time. its very effective, and sooooooo much cheaper then going out and buying a mud or clothe mask. totally recommend it to ANYONE with acne, large pores, un-even tone. its just an all round helper

Pros:

Skin feels tighter.
Reduced redness and appearance of pores.
Smooth, soft skin.

Cons:

Hard to apply.

I've had acne for about eight years. Within the last year I was taking a prescription that really helped but I don't have insurance nor any money for it anymore. So, I started researching home remedies. I've been off my prescription for two weeks and in lieu of it have been washing my face with Baking Soda and honey. Both work exceptionally well and my acne is down to virtually nothing, which is fantastic because I'm nearing that fateful time of the month when it gets significantly worse. I tried egg whites today for the first time (didn't know ppl also used the yolk). I mixed it with honey, lemon juice, and a drop of lavender because I hate the smell of eggs. My skin feels incredibly soft and brighter. Haven't noticed any reduction of pimples but I'm going to keep trying this also because I have oily skin. I'd definitely recommend it. It also didn't cost me because we have chickens :)

Pros:

Left skin feeling refreshed
Tightens Skin but does not dry it out
Shrinks bigger pimples immediately!
Afforable

Cons:

Smells kinda weird
Hurts when your weaing it because it gets really tight and dry.

I LOVE THIS! I only used it once and my skin is already clearing up! This is how I did it. I took one egg and only used the whites and whisked it in a large bowl until it was very frothy. Then I put it 2 little squirts of honey so it would stick on my face better. I left it on my skin for around an hour and removed it. Then I applied the yolk on my face and let it dry for arounf 10 minutes. Then I applied my Clean and Clear Moisturizer and rubbed an ice cube across my face to close my pores. My skin looks the best it has ever been in my teenage years! I am so impressed. *I'm 16 with a mixture of around 4 or 5 cysts and then little pimples all over my face.

Pros:

shrinks pores instantly, smooths skin, cheap, shrinks pimples in one use!

Cons:

none

I just cracked an egg and separated the white from the yolk, then I rubbed the egg white on my face & let it dry for about 25 minutes. After I washed it off with warm water, I immediately noticed a difference! my skin was smoother and softer and my acne looked less noticeable after only use! it's great for oily skin and so easy to use! I love it! I think anyone with acne should try it before they start using medications, it works!
