leaves my face feeling oily
I never really feel like my skin has gotten clean after i use it. Its almost too moisturizing. it definitely did not dry my skin out by any means. I feel like it left my skin over oily and greasy. I also started to break out worse after using it. i could never get it to lather up, it just goes on like a watered down lotion. I have combo skin, slightly sensitive. This may work very well for others.

Pros:

- gentle
- no fragrance
- no irritation so far

Cons:

- none so far

I like this cleanser a lot. I finally realized that gentle cleansing is key when you have acne :) So far no breakouts, which is definitely the goal here.

Pros:

Left my skin feeling very moisturized while still feeling like it was effectively cleansed. Very gentle. Smells pretty nice.

Cons:

Price vs. quantity; It's not a horrible deal, but not the best either. Also, it's ok at taking off eye makeup, but it will still be a little smudgy after. I always use an eye make up remover first.

I was worried to switch to this cleanser after using the same cleanser for the past 8 years or so, and after recently switching to using benzoyl peroxide. My skin didn't react negatively to it though, and it felt more moisturized than my previous cleanser. I was happy with this product.

Meh Meh
This product is okay at best. I used it for a week and nothing happened. My acne didn't get better or worse. Not a great product, but not a bad product.

Good for dry skin!
I tried this product last year and i love it!! I just like how it moisturizes my skin while cleansing my face. While many neutrogena facial wash leaves you skin dry after washing, this doesnt! But it would be better for dry skin because it doesnt cleanse as deeply compared to other gentle cleansers. So wouldnt recommend it for oily skin.

Not what I had expected.

Pros:

Relatively inexpensive
Non-overdrying

Cons:

Irritated Acne
Burns
Redness

While others may be sucessful when trying this cleanser, I found it to be irritating to my senesitive skin. It burned upon application and did not have any moisturizing affects at all. However, everyone's skin is different

Pros:

Non irritating.

Cons:

Over time left my face kind of gummy - not sure if was really getting it clean.

This just didn't agree with me. Know about it not stripping your face, and all that, but don't really think it got it clean enough. I do agree with those who felt that this left a film on the skin. It could just be that the film was because it wasn't getting it clean -- after watching blackheads increasing on my forehead I switched to Purpose liquid- which I'm currently loving.

Pros:

I guess it helped the dryness of my combo skin a little although I did not see a marked improvement

Cons:

I dislike the consistency it feels worse than rubbing lotion on my face and my face definatly broke out from it.

May work for some with the use of the BP. Didn't dry out my skin but, didn't feel nice either.

Great cleanser

I was sceptical about this one at first as I’m used to a good foaming cleanser that feels like it’s really stripping your skin. This cleanser feels quite strange on the skin and not like it’s really cleaning anything but I find that my skin is left so soft and moisturised afterwards and within a week, most of my acne was gone. I only get a light to normal amount of acne and also some cystic acne around my chin and this has done a great job at clearing it quickly. My biggest problem is picking at my acne, leaving big sores and scars and this has reduced my scabbiness to a point where I really don’t pick anywhere near as much.

Overall a fantastic cleanser. I just use this and also the makeup wipes once a day and it has made a huge difference. If you’re trying this cleanser and hate the way it feels on your face at first, just give it a chance and it may work wonders for you! I got used to the feel of it fairly quickly and the results speak for themselves.
