great anti-acnes , mosturising mask for face and lip
sorry for my english , i'm not the english native :)). I use organic honey taking from the forest. it's actually rare in grocery stores or supermarket but super super worth for me . it's not as sweet as the regular, industrial honey and thicker than a little bit .I usually apply it on my acnes which is squeezed to prevent swollen , pigmented spot , and it's really helpful . And I also use it as a mask , face cleaser , natural purifing drink for heathiness . tolly obsessed with it

Pros:

Cheap
Noticed a visible difference after the first use
Other skin bonuses as well as helping acne

Cons:

No real problems other than it being a little bit messy and you will end up eating lots of it!

I've been using honey for roughly a week now and I have to say that my skin has improved fairly drastically during that time. I made sure only to buy organic honey on the recommendation of someone on this site. My skin has become a lot clearer, my confidence has improved and I feel a lot better in myself! Really would recommend giving this a go as, what have you got to lose, even if it doesn't work you've still got the honey you can eat and you won't feel like you wasted too much money.

Pros:

Noticeable difference after only a couple days
Cheap
Easy to apply and rinse off
Works really efficiently
Works fast!
Tastes not bad either :)

Cons:

A bit messy, but not really a big deal

This really surprised me. It's too easy! I've tried soooo many things and have barely seen any difference in my skin. I've suffered from MODERATE acne since I was 14 (now 18) and now I can classify my acne as LIGHT. And at the rate, I could be acne free very soon!! I actually use lemon juice in my routine too and I really reccommend them together! My daily routine: Usually in the evening, I'll wash my face with a normal cleanser (no crazy acne meds in it), then I apply lemon juice (I use bottled lemon, but of course real lemon works) to my face with my fingers. I then apply the honey to my face and rinse it after 20-45 min. Throughout that time, I'll massage the honey on my face a few times. This routine works greattttt and it's so cheap and easy! Thank-you honey and lemon!!

Pros:

Smooths skin, reduces redness, refreshes, moistens and you end up smelling like the product, which in this case is great! It's alo great to prevent skin aging.

Cons:

You feel tempted to eat the product :)

FOR EVERYTHING THAT'S GOOD AND PURE USE IT. I actually don't se it as a mask or anything, but I use it as a step when I take a shower (it's much easier to apply - apply it to your lips and hair as well) leave it for a few minutes and then rinse. The change is progressive as opposed to overnight, but you can tell the diference since the first time you use it, and the benefits are both short and long term.

Pros:

Works very well in reducing redness and making skin look a lot brighter. Seems to really reduce the appearance of acne scars.

Cons:

Sticky is the only con.

At first using honey seemed to be ridiculous, but I was so fed up with my acne which has stuck with me for the past few years that I had to give it a try. To y amazement, its been working very well. I know I have only been using it for a week, but I can already see a great change in the appearance of my skin. I would recommend this product to anyone I know with skin problems.

This is my HG
Honey was what finally had some effect on my cystic acne. Nothing else worked and believe me I tried for 20 years. Antibiotics, BP, peels, you name it and I would have tried it. One application of just honey healed me like nothing else.

how often would you use it?
September 24, 2011

Pros:

Reduces redness
Prevents new acne from forming
Works great for sensitive skin!
Fairly inexpensive
Tastes great ;)

Cons:

Can be a little messy if you put too much on

I'm so in love with this honey mask! I have very sensitive skin so its hard to find something soothing that works. I put a tablespoon over honey, spread thin across my face and leave it on for 20 or so minutes (I haven't dared to try it overnight) and wash it off with warm water. You can get pretty instant results, a clearer tone and smooth skin :) I follow up with a toner and moisturizer, and that seems to work just fine. Thumbs up to the honey bees!

Pros:

- Smooths Skin.
- Lightens Complextion & Acne Scars.
- Reduces Inflammation & Swelling.
- Not harmful (Make sure the honey has no hidden chemicals some additives may cause skin reactions)
- Simply amazing for sensitve skin.
-Brings Acne vulgaris (Cystic acne) too the head.

Cons:

- Can be messy (But hey no problem cleaning up)
- Expensive in some cases
- Spend more time eating it than actually using it Lol.
- Will not remove un-touched acne the skin must be opened for the honey too work.

I'm 17 and have had Light acne since the age of 13 Doesn't matter how much acne you have it still strips you of confidence. Anyways I've been using 'manuka' honey (Which I've noticed is heavily expensive in the states which IS worth the while of spending the money on the honey rather than 'clean & clear's' sh*t and ect) now for 3 days and I wish I had found it earlier, from the few years of spending rediculous amouts of $$$ on products and waking up the next morning to find you have skin pelling of your face and white heads everywhere from the harsh factory chemicals. too this 'Natural' savior, The first day I used It I had a drink of Green tea with the honey added as a sweetener (Alot of great antioxidents for the skin) and then soked my face for 3 minutes topically wiped a nice slice of cucumber all over & then massaged with my fingers the Manuka honey over my face in a circular motion (Expectally in the affected areas) Left it for a few minutes (Or your desired time) then washed off good as gold. My face felt smooth and the redness I get around the lower areas of my eyes had completely vanished. Manuka honey has natural anti-bacterical bases and also contains many vitamins that will help combat the prevention of acne, removes scars and blemishes of the skin. I'll write another review on the 21st of the 9th too update how it's going. Good luck with your fight too keep clear. Have a good one (:

Pros:

has cleared up acne
made skin soft
acne scars are disappering

Cons:

none

Ok so i started getting acne after I had kids. It wasent that bad till I got my tubes tied. So I've been trying everything to make it go away. Finally I got put on yaz and I bought some honey. So far my face looks great, I even went so far to have to chemical peels and they just made it worse. My morning regimen is I get in the shower and put the honey on for ten min. Then I put on my microdelivery exfoliating wash (which is awsome to but expensive). At last my moisturizer that i bought at the dermatologist office. At night all I use is my olay sensitive face wash and my moisturizer.I dont scrub or rub any of it on my skin cause it acually just irritates it. I just let it sit on there till I'm ready to wash it off. My honey wasnt that expensive I acually bought it at walmart. I just made sure It was pure honey.
