Pros:

- Great Mosturizer
-not oily
- non-comedogenic ( wont clog pores)
- Never breaks you out.
Great!

Cons:

None what so ever.

-When you first start using it, it may seem a little oily but after a few applications your skin drinks in the hydration and its great.

This is by far the best moisturizer ever! Its great for your face as well as the whole body. and it replenishes skin well. Even people with acne prone skin can use this. If you are currently on acne meds such as benzoyl perozixe or clindamicin etc. this moisturizes your skin and calms any redness assoiciated with acne.

Pros:

-very light, non-greasy feel
-cheap compared to other "name-brand" moisturizers (Olay, Neutrogena)
-GENTLE enough to use around eyes
-hasn't broken me out yet

Cons:

-smells kind of weird..but who cares when it's so effective!

I've had good experiences with several other moisturizers (Neutrogena Healthy Skin & Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydradtion). Overall, they replenished my skin with moisture after the drying BP (and wore well under makeup) except for a few stubborn patches on the corners of my mouth and eyes. Nothing, absolutely nothing I did would take care of the flakes and scaliness! I tried moisturizers, creams, even jojoba oil to no effect. Finally after spending way too much money this month on every moisturizer with a good review, I gave this a try. I'm so glad I did =) Immediately there was a dramatic improvement in my skin. Whereas other lotions and creams sat on top of the dry patches, CeraVe sunk right in. Another nice thing is how gentle it is! I hate when products say "not for use around eyes or mouth" on the label; those are the parts that need it the most DUHHH. Don't waste another minute guys check this stuff out =) Hopefully it doesn't break you out like some people have complained of..if not, it's a lifesaver!

Pros:

Very light, goes on smooth, very non-greasy. Totally non-comedogenic. Moisturizes all day. Facilitates skin renewal. Based on new technologies. Unbelievably perfect moisturizer.

Cons:

No SPF.

I've been searching for a replacement for Eucerin Skin Renewal SPF 15 Day Lotion for about a year now. I've gone through at least $300 worth of other moisturizers, toners, lotions, and creams. They all failed miserably. I was thinking about contacting a chem lab to have them reverse engineer the Eucerin for me but that would've cost about $1000 before it was all over. Then I found this. I was shocked at how good it really works. I would even go so far as to say that it's better than the Eucerin, and I've been known to think of that Eucerin as a gift from the gods. Cera-Ve is truly amazing. Its formula is unlike anything I've seen in other moisturizers. I have an extremely sensitive face and I use Differin at night to keep it clear. In the mornings I need moisture renewal after a shower and this stuff takes care of business, lasts all day, and doesn't clog pores at all. I'm so happy I found it.

Pros:

-very light consistency
-non greasy
-doesn't break me out
-a ton comes in the bottle for ~$15
-good under makeup (liquid, anyway)
-seems to tone down redness (it certainly doesn't agitate it, anyway)

Cons:

-I suppose it could moisturize a little better? It works fine for me, though, and I have pretty dry skin

If you are looking for a very light lotion that is not greasy or shiny and does not break your sensitive skin out, this is it. It also wears nicely under make up. I pair this with the cerave hydrating cleanser (and witch hazel toner), and my skin hasn't looked this good in a while. I have fair skin with mild rocasea, and my face breaks out when my hormones are acting crazy, and this works very well for my skin. I'de say its best for very sensitive skin. Also, if you don't mind the fifteen dollar price tag, it works pretty well for the rest of the body, as well.

Moisterizes through out the whole day without the oily/greasy feel others have left me with. It deeply penetrates my skin, everything's healthy plump and glows. This product apears pricey, however 12oz will go much further than the less effective usual 2oz bottle of something else. In the end I'd argue that it's much cheaper and there is coupons to be found so don't let tha hold you back. MOST importantly, this lotion NEVER broke me out. In fact my acne became few as this is delicate enough to use on your face. I recently ran out of this stuff and wasn't able to get it right away...my face immediately became dull, broke out, tight, flakey, and not to mention how ugly my makeup looked on top of dried out skin even though I still moisterized. I've never written a review before, but this is a product after my own heart. Love. It.

Pros:

-PERFECT for dry skin!
-lightweight
-smoother skin

Cons:

none!

this is seriously the best lotion for your face. I used to use Cetaphil for me face, which is another awesome moisturizer, but it was really heavy on my face. CeraVe is so lightweight and even perfect for people who have acne, like me.

Pros:

Doesn't burn AT ALL when I put it on my eczema outbreaks. Doesn't leave skin oily.

Cons:

None

I have been struggling with my eczema for about 4 months, and have tried every lotion/cream out there in my quest to overcome the dryness of my skin. All of the brands I tried left my skin oily (which I can't STAND!) and/or burned when I applied it (which discouraged me from wanting to use it on the spots that needed it the most!). When I went back to the doctor this week he suggested CeraVe. I dreaded having to use it because of my issues with other lotions, but I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I just applied it for the first time tonight and my skin already feels better. It feels soft and not the least bit oily. I will never use anything else.

Pros:

It feels light and absorbs easily without leaving a residue. It has never broken me out, which I was afraid a moisturizer would do. No fragrance, which I like. It's also pretty cheap.

Cons:

For a period of two weeks, my face would get really red everytime I was in a dry room (it's freezing in NY and the heat is way up). I suppose I didn't use enough lotion to counteract this dryness. Also, it's hard to carry the lotion around - I wish they made a traveling size!

I use a full pump on my face, let it absorb for ten to fifteen minutes, then use another half pump for particularly dry areas like my cheeks. This is a great lotion; I use it as part of the DKR regimen and my skin is completely clear of acne after four weeks on the regimen (I put that I have light acne, which I did before I started the regimen).
