Use Your Brain
Do a little research for yourself. Don't believe ignorant/shady dermatologists and "experts" that want you to use their products by putting down vaseline. Don't just listen to people on Acne.org either. Think for yourself and use that brain to read reliable studies. Countless studies have proven vaseline is one of the safest and most reliable moisturizers. It DOES NOT clog pores or cause cancer either lol so don't believe that fearmongering. The FDA and Paula Begoun have your back:)

Took me by surprise!
My skin is combination. Hormonal acne across my jaw and chin, dry yet oily skin across my t-zone, and sensitive as hell. After an embarrassing encounter with Veet hair removal cream on my chin which resulted in a nasty burnt dry patch, I grabbed this stuff and slathered it on my chin, then decided to slap some on my other dry areas, aka my nose, mouth and forehead. After 15 mins I figured I'd made a huge mistake, my face looked slimy and I could literally envision my pores filling up with gunge. So I wiped off the excess with tissue, though f**k it and went to bed. Low and behold, the next morning all the areas I'd applied this stuff to was not only soft as a baby's butt, but no outbreaks. If anything my skin looked less red! No giant gaping pores, and not insanely oily. Now I feel stupid for listening to the rumours of this stuff being an evil pore-clogger! After my cleansing ritual (I'm currently using a cream wipe-off cleanser, followed by the PureActive anti-blemish toner gel - works wonders), I gently massage Vaseline on my face. I don't worry If I've used too much, because after 5 mins of letting it soak in I wipe off the excess with tissue. Then I apply my usual treatment on my zits and done! I don't use this during the day unless I really have to, I view it like a night cream. I've only given it 4 stars because it doesn't feel great when you first put it on, if you obsessively live in fear of provoking raging acne it's genuinely terrifying to give this a go, but trust me it works. If you're feeling skeptical, test it out on smaller areas first before you graduate to using it on your entire face!

This healed my skin
When I first started I was terrified, my skin looked so bad though after BP etc. My skin is very sensitive and I had just been putting anything on it in hopes of "killing" acne. But I kept getting more and more, and they we're angrier than ever. So, one day I put this on and kept putting it on so everything came to the surface. After this I just kept using it, every night. I use it to cleanse my face from make-up too if I wear it. I went on accutane about 1.5 months after I started using this. I had already been confirmed for it just when I started using it, but had to wait to be put on birth control and all that crap. I kept using it throughout and I haven't gotten a pimple since. I still use it now off it. I am amazed of how well my skin is healing. I went to a new derm after accutane and she convinced me that vaseline will break me out. She gave me some differin. After two days I had eczema and pupules all over my upper cheeks. I went back on vaseline and now it is getting back to normal. I am a bit angry that derms don't explore new possibilities with acne because these creams and stuff, and antibiotics (except accutane which actually works) is getting old. It will not clog your pores. I have been using it for 10 months (before, during and after accutane) and it has never clogged my pores. The only thing it will do is help heal your skin. It traps moisture and doesn't give your skin any new, so it is just helping you skin oppose to your ordinary moisturizer that you will eventually become dependent on. You really shouldn't need to use a moisturizer in the first place or anything really. You shouldn't furiously wash your face so much either. If you don't wear make up then maybe splash some water on your face once a day but that is it. I know that vaseline isn't natural, but whatevs. I mean I don't need to use anything and my skin is starting to look so much better so I know it is helping with something. Also, never use BP or anything on a popped zit, the bacteria has already died when it popped and now it just needs to heal. Put a lot of vaseline on it!!

YES
Made an account simply to review this product. I had suffered with acne from age 11-21, from small whiteheads to huge cystic pimples. I spent my time researching and trying all sorts of remedies. I told myself as soon as I found a system that worked, I would post to help others. And FINALLY I found it!! My skin is almost completely clear and smooth. Here's the routine. Morning: -cleanse with unscented Dr. Bronner's liquid castile soap -moisturize with jojoba oil Night: -remove makeup with jojoba oil and steaming hot washcloth -cleanse with Dr. Bronner's -moisturize with jojoba -apply a thin layer of vaseline all over face I SWEAR this routine has transformed my skin! Please give it a try!
