Got My Confidence Back!
I deliberately wanted to come and write a review because I want people to know that this regimen has definitely worked for me. I read the reviews of others before trying it and saw that some discovered amazing results in a few weeks... well I received results in a matter of days. I've been using the treatment for only a full week as of today and already my face has cleared up and stayed clear. Now, I don't have severe acne most of the time but I do have those rare flare ups where my skin gets red swollen pimples and I get those hard painful ones that you feel like everyone can see. But I can say that so far, my skin has consistently stayed clear and the tone gets more even every day. I'm usually terrible about staying on a routine but when it comes to this stuff I make sure I don't skip on the schedule. Using the acne.org regimen has made it where I don't even wanna wear foundation anymore in fear that it would jeapordize the wonderful results I've had so far. But honestly, I don't even feel like I've needed it. It's truly made my confidence go up & I will definitely continue using this product.

Great but not for everyone. Please read.
Let me begin with some background knowledge, I'm 17 and I've have had acne for approximately 3 1/2 years now. Sometimes it's just a pimple here and there, but other times I break out excessively, and being a junior in high school it sucks having to deal with acne, as it would for anyone. I've gone to two dermatologists but the topical gels they have prescribed to me only work for a short period of time. Before starting the regimen, I had about 4-6 pimples nesting on my face, so I decided to take care of it before it got worse. I used the regimen for about 3 months and my acne got worse, but I kept using it because I heard it "takes time" for some people. Furthermore, I determined that the Benzoyl Peroxide and my skin just weren't "simpatico" with each other. I no longer use the Benzoyl Peroxide but I still use the cleanser along with the moisturizer and have seen my face start to clear up. I'm not saying that the Benzoyl Peroxide doesn't work because there are many success stories, but for some people it might not due to various reasons.

It works!
I was on Proactiv for 10 years and had a great skin. I decided to stop using it thinking I was in good shape as an adult. Within a month or two I suffered terrible break outs... the worst of my life. I saw a dermatologist and tried a bunch of things: Epiduo, Clindamycin and Doxycycline. Nothing was working so eventually the dermatologist suggested nipping it all in the bud with Accutane. I was pretty nervous about it and ultimately felt like it wasn't worth the potential side effects. I went back on Proactiv and saw moderate results. They changed the formula and I wasn't really all that happy with the overall results, and I decided to give The Regimen a try. It sounds cliche, given all the other posts here, but I wish I had just tried it from the beginning. I remember reading reviews for all the different treatments that I was trying and also reading the reviews for The Regimen, being a bit skeptical. It's been about 5 months now and my skin is as clear as it's been in years. Some blemishes here and there but now anything that pops up is much smaller than ever and way more manageable. What blemishes that do surface usually disappear within a day or two. I know this probably isn't a forever solution but I would recommend The Regimen pretty easily and quickly.

Pros:

not too harsh
rapid clearing of acne
less prone to breakouts

Cons:

drying
facial redness
non mattifying

not too sure yet to think of this product but its been a week and my acne is clearing, currently ive literally tried everything from supplements to "acne kits" and definetely for me benzoyle peroxide is a miracle worker the only downfall is that it is a bit drying ,but some jojoba will do the job, the only other complaint i have is that some facial redness has been occuring but at least im am clearing up. in case you were wondering of the supplementation of my products ( i do work at the vitamin shoppe) i take saw palmetto for excess testosterone, guggul for natural tetracycline alternative, zinc for scarring and immune system, and lots of fish oil since i work out and of course my aminos and protein for weightlifting..... but girls if you were wondering t balance your hormones if your acne is hormonal look into maca, or eveing primrose oil.

Pros:

i have been using these products for a little over a week, my skin is starting to clear up, my pore is getting smaller, my skin tone feels so much smoother. The cleanser is amazing, i never had a cleanser who actually remover all my make up away.

Cons:

The treatment makes my skin a little dry, i only use it once a day (at night time), i use two pump of the moisturizer and i add a few drop of jojoba oil to help with the dryness.

The bottom line these product work for me, and it's so important to follow the direction and be very gentle with your skin, use very light on the treatment first time start the products. Thank you Dan :)

so upset
when i started this product i was so excited because i had seen a youtubers video saying it changed her life. after one month nothing happened. after two months my skin was horrific. i had more acne scars then i had ever in my life, and i was so broken out i was embarrassed to go out in public... ever. i cried myself to sleep because i finally had hope for clear skin, and after the money i spent with no results, i am truly saddened and disappointed.

It takes dedication and a different lifestyle
I'm a 15 year old girl who used to have the most repulsive acne. I had deeply imbedded pimples on my forehead, zits all over my back, blackheads on my nose, and the nastiest cysts on the side of my face. Now, I only get the occasional whitehead. Most of my acne developed in the places covered by my hair. The oils from my hair were not the problem; the culprit was the excessive irritation between my skin and hair. If you have hair that touches your face, you have got to tie it back. Just doing this can make a huge difference. I'm very insecure about my acne, so this was hard, especially as a girl who has to face her peers eight hours a day. By tying up my hair, all the acne on the sides of my face were visible. Makeup is a gray area. I would say within the first 2 weeks of the regimen, don't use any makeup at all. Within the first two days your skin will clear up drastically. No makeup includes no eyeliner and any eye makeup. Anyway, I started to take a chelated zinc tablet everyday after 2 weeks of the regimen. There were 50mg in each pill. I took them everyday for a week and the acne on my back literally disappeared. I was told that the normal dietary supplement of zinc is 9mg and that too much is dangerous. Scared out of my mind, I started to only take half the pill, but then some acne on my back reappeared. As frustrating as it was, an overdose of zinc is not worth clear skin. Irritation is really the main reason you probably have excessive acne. I used to love popping my pimples, but what I didn't know was that popping them caused more acne in other parts of my skin. Peter Thomas Roth sells these invisible clear dots with salicylic acid and even though they don't really make the pimple go away, they stop you from picking at the damn thing. They're also very subtle, so you can wear them during the day. After wearing these, I started to really notice a difference in the deeply imbedded pimples on my shoulders and forehead. Getting back to makeup: if you can, don't wear any. I couldn't keep to that, but I got rid of my thick foundations and oily concealers and started to only use clinique's bb cream for acne. I still use this brand exclusively. It has acne fighting ingredients inside, so it is partly beneficial, but you still have to wash it off the night you use it. After 2 months of the regimen, I started to do the full regimen at night and only the cleanser and moisturizer during the day because my skin was so dry. It didn't make a huge difference because I was using the invisible dots during the day and taking the zinc tablets. Diet and exercise is also vital for clear skin. The diet and exercise isn't the direct link to getting rid of acne, in fact IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Literally you can eat all the oily food you want and your skin will look the same. Let me explain it. The happier you are the less acne you have. During the summer, I literally didn't give a crap about my skin. I might've washed my face with a generic cleanser twice a week, but my skin was glowing and clear. I was stress-free from school, eating like a pig, and sleeping 9 hours a day. During times of great stress, an outlet is necessary. Exercising makes me happier because the oxytocin released when doing so. After exercising I sleep more and when I sleep more, I don't binge or have sugar/carb/salt cravings. Basically, I gave my body the false impression that I wasn't stressed out, and therefore my skin became clearer. It's a whole lifestyle. This regimen is only 40% of "the change". It works man. It really really does, but if you want glowing skin from the inside out, you have to start inside.

so far.... so good! 1month + 1 week in.
I NEVER make reviews on anything! Let alone, on the internet. But I have to say... acne.org regimen truly does work! I am not where I want to be, but I do see results. Most if not all of my cystic acne have diminished and the red/dark scarring are slowly but surely fading. My acne was so bad that I couldn't walk around my own home around my own family, without feeling insecure. It was THAT bad. Even at work, Being around women with beautiful skin, they would comment on my acne, giving me advices and such. It was absolutely embarrassing! I'm not at that point yet where I can leave my house bare-faced. But when I do wear make-up to cover up the scaring and even out my skin tone, no bumps and lumps peak through anymore. I now get compliments from the same women giving me advices and telling me my skin looks so much more refreshed and flawless. Best part? ... I've only been using the regimen for a little over a month!! And just a few days ago I placed my second order! I am certain by the time Spring/Summer rolls around (I am in Canada) I will be able to enjoy the sun on my face and not have to worry about my makeup melting off ;)

So far So Gooood
First off I would like to give you a brief over view of my-self. I am a 16 years old guy in high school and have mild acne ( 2-3 pimples a month) but unfortunately suffer from hyperpigmentation (red marks that linger after a pimple) I also have pretty normal skin with a lightly oily forehead and nose (not too bad) I started using The Regimen about a couple of days ago and already LOVE it! I actually quit using Proactiv+ to try this out instead because I found it to be to drying, it did work very well it just wasn't moisturizing enough. Now onto Acne.org. I like how the company did not rely on advertisements to improve their sale. I ordered the 3 step system (cleanser, treatment and moisturizer), the AHA Glycolic Acid and the Jojoba oil. I use the 3 step system twice a day every day along with 4 drops of Jojoba oil after the moisturizer. I also use my Vitagoods Spin For Perfect Skin brush and have not encountered and irritation problems so far. The system has really helped clear my very mild acne. I use the AHA Glycolic Acid Monday and Friday In replacement of the moisturizer and apply 4 drops of Jojoba after I apply the AHA. The AHA is just as/if not more hydrating than the moisturizer itself and does tingle and burn A VERY LITTLE (if you have sensitive skin please be careful). The Regimen as really cleared my skin with little to no redness and drying as I have been on some sort of BP for quite some time so my skin as grown accustom. The AHA has faded my hyper pigmentation quite a bit in a week and smoothed my skin making it very soft and glowy. I have also noticed that you can get far more 2 months with the supply they give you if you only use as much AS NEEDED. For example, in the morning i use 1/2 a pump of cleanser with my hands ( it lathers VERY WELL) then about 1/3 of a finger of treatment (tip of finger to first "crease") and 1/2 pump of moisturizer ( I don't use Jojoba oil in the morning). Then at night I again use 1/2 pump of cleanser with my Vitagoods Spin Brush then 1/3 finger of treatment and 1/2 pump of moisturizer and if I use the AHA instead of the moisturizer (twice a week) I use about 1/3 finger of AHA and lastly top it off by patting 4 drops of Jojoba oil on my face and neck. As far as spot treatments and face masks go, the best spot treatment I have found is the Mario Badescu "Drying Lotion" a.k.a isopropyl alcohol and calamine lotion. i just make my own and it is AMAZING and clears a pimple in about 2 days. For face masks I have yet to find a miracle but am still on the hunt:) As for all that I hope you find this review helpful and hope you see great results as I have. Thank you for reading, have a blessed day!
