Pros:

as good as it gets for what it is... as part of my new regimen it is helping keep me clear. i tried using two pumps and it was making my eyes and neck dry and getting all over my pillow and ruining towels. now I use .75 - 1 pump and my skin is under control and basically clear.

Cons:

my skin looks a bit duller

effective and is non comedogenic...

Pros:

High quality BP
Big bottle with pump

Cons:

Shipping is expensive to Canada 9 $
Shipping is not fast, took about 3 weeks to get here

I was using Panoxyl 2.5 % BP for 11 years, but it got discontinued in Canada. (don't know why since it was a really good product) I was looking for a similar product but couldn't find any where I live. I ordered BP from acne.org and after using it for a month, i have to say i am really pleased with the high quality of the product. I don't have an opinion about the regimen because i don't follow it, i have been using BP for about a decade and i guess i have my own personal regimen which works fine for me. If you are new at using BP, i would advise you too stick to Dan's regimen at first and then play with it, add other products and add or remove steps as your acne disapear. Be careful because BP does dry your skin so less is better at first. If your skin is dry and red, just stop using it for a day or two and it should get back to normal and then start using it again. Good luck :)

Pros:

Smoother skin

Cons:

Redness
Flaking
More hyperpigmentation/scarring
Sun sensitivity

Despite sticking at it religiously for 6 months, BP just didn't work for me. However, this BP is definitely the best I've found in terms of having the least redness and flaking. It also absorbs better. Generally, I think if BP actually works for you then this is the best one to go for, but I had sensitive skin that was still red after 6 months.

Very drying
Made my face red

Hardened skin
2 mild breakouts but healed quickly

This works!! I'm 25 and I've battled with acne for a couple of years but it got worse after I quit birth control pills in December. My skin went through explosions of breakouts this summer over a period of 2 months. I had at least 5-6 new zits every day. It was horrible, I could barely leave the house. Makeup couldn't hide the bumps on my skin. Even my parents looked at me with pity because my face was covered with whiteheads and cysts on the jawline, cheeks, chin and forehead. The zits on my forehead subsided before starting on the BP treatment but I still got these pesky clusters of pimples on my cheeks, temples and jawline. So while I was planning my new skin regimen, Dan's treatment came to my mind. I was on the treatment for mild acne in the past when I was 16 but I quit because I had just started on the birth control pills so my skin improved and I didn't need the BP. I'm on Day 16 of the BP treatment and my skin has massively improved and I don't have these awful bumps on my skin anymore. My skin has returned to a matte/normal look - no more oily cheeks, nose and forehead! I'm using Desert Essence Tea Tree cleanser for Oily/Combination skin and Emu oil as moisturizer. I still have a couple of pimples but they're quickly going away. My face is pretty robust so I've already upped the amount to a full-length (not so generous though) and only spot treat during the day. My skin hardened during the first week and then it started peeling. My face is quite flaky and it seems like a new old layer of skin is constantly coming off. But I'm happy it does because it has helped peel away my old red marks! I only have faint traces of pimple marks left. The newest marks are quickly fading - I think it's because the BP shortens the healing process of the pimples, reducing the scars. Looking forward to more peeling actually! I work from home so I don't have to go out often. My confidence is slowly but surely coming back! Thanks Dan for giving

Pros:

Works really well
Cleared up my acne quickly
Much cheaper than other things I tried
Also helps with ingrown chin hairs
Sinks in quickly

Cons:

I have slight flakiness around the outside of my eyes even though I don't put the Treatment there. I consider this a minor con and its easily fixed with a drop or two of jojoba.

I started the regime using "on the spot", Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer. I was thrilled that it worked and worked quite quickly. I love Cetaphil so I've decided to stick with those products but for convenience I decided to order a tube of the 2.5% BP Treatment from acne.org and it works so much better. It sinks into my skin better, its not as white as the on the spot cream and I find it gentler (or maybe my skin became more accustomed to the BP). I find the acne.org treatment gel cost effective and great on my skin.

Pros:

Works great, good consistency, not gritty, big bottles last forever!

Cons:

Will bleach clothing, may be irritating

I started developing acne for the first time in my 30s, and I was desperate for something to work. I tried the Clinique line which worked great, but was so pricey. I decided to get the big bottles of the cleanser, the treatment, the moisturizer, and the AHA and I am so glad I did. I would purchase them again, except for the moisturizer. I like the Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer better, so I use this moisturizer now as a make-up remover.

Pros:

Clears skin
Prevents breakouts
Smoothe skin

Cons:

Dryness - flaking skin
Redness at first

This is a great product. Once you use it you will never want to use neutrogena on-the-spot 2.5% BP because this product is clear and gel based and absorbs very well. If you can manage to take the time to do the regiment correctly two times a day, you will be able to overcome the dryness and achieve clear skin. I haven't used Dan's jojaba oil but from what I hear it is the perfect for combatting dryness. Good luck!

Pros:

Extremely effective on acne as well as acne marks.

Cons:

Dries skin

I have used this product every morning and night for about four months, and my skin is almost completely clear. I use the AHA as my moisturizer twice a day as well because my skin can become very dry and even flaky. I have never had such long lasting results. If you follow Dan's regime it will absolutely work. I saw immediate results in the beginning, but still experienced minor breakouts for 1-2 months. But now I rarely breakout and my skin tone is much more even.

Pros:

Works without overdrying (on me)
Good price
Good consistency

Cons:

I can't think of any.

It works for me, but bp has always been the most effective acne treatment for me. It doesn't dry me out badly or cause much irritation though I am one of the few that claim this. The consistency is really nice. It's smooth and dries clear. I used on the spot and that was so gritty and dried me out more plus I think it gave me more acne. I switched to acne.org bp and it's been so much better. I only use it 1x a day before bed and that's working for me. I tried the cleanser but it gave me small pimples so I went to a bp wash and that works better for me. I don't use acne.org moisturizer either. I've never tried because I was really happy with my moisturizer I was already using and didn't want to switch and risk a breakout. I just began using the aha a few times a week and so far I really like that too.
