It says '3 days' and the acne will disappear but it never happens like it. After I stopped using it and switched to 2 neutrogena products, I saw results. Bottom line, don't use t.

Pros:

It has a shiny cover, helped clear the spots on my back,

Cons:

It dries skin out on my face making my spots there even worse, stings a bit, made me look about 45

Just like any other clearasil abomination it is largely alcohol based, and isn't good for anyone's skin. Because it dried my skin out so much I looked awful every morning, like I had aged and not had enough sleep.

Pros:

Does what it says it does.

Cons:

Doesn't do what it says it does for very long.

The 3-day promise came true for me. Past that, not a whole lot of improvement. The formula is WAY too harsh--the scrubbing bits left me itchy and the cleanser itself made my skin dry out. After a few months, my skin is worse than ever.

Pros:

VERY IMPRESSED!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. I can not believe how much the redness has reduced. Even my scarring is a lot less noticable.

Cons:

Price

I DEFINATELY saw a difference in 3 days. Great product, if a little on the dear side.

Pros:

does improve(slightly) mild acne by drying the face.

Cons:

none

try not to use allover face but in certain problematic areas (p.ex.forehead). Ideal only for very mild acne
December 5, 2007

Pros:

None

Cons:

Tightening of the skin and to the point where it starts flaking.

Don't use Clearasil "ultra" I've tried some of their other products and they seem to be good but their "ultra" formula seems to tighten my skin and make it flakey. the flakes started appearing 1 - 2 days after I had used it and the flakes under my nose became so dry that when I pulled them off, blood was revealed, I definitely don't recommened this product

Pros:

Clears up acne
Skin feels clean, smooth, and hydrated

Cons:

i'm cheap so i wish it would cost less

When I get pimples--which is usually around the time i get my period--they are the big cystic type (usually around my mouth and chin). i actually stopped using proactiv after i found this wash. Since then, i have rarely gotten pimples (and when i do, they're not as large and don't last very long). People have actually noticed a difference in my skin.
