Pros:

Cheap, works moderately well. Fun tingling feeling, keeps me from touching the acne.

Used: Crest 3D White Toothpaste, might be gel form

Cons:

Dries out your skin, but that's sort of the point.

Turned my persistent red bumps from raised red bumps to flat red bumps, and shrunk them in size somewhat. This is a VERY good thing, since now I can cover them with makeup.

Pros:

it works, its cheap and feels minty fresh when applied

Cons:

white stains on bedsheets are hard to explain. lol

It is a good solution if your acne is easily controlled. You may need more invasive treatments if your ance is severe.

Pros:

-Made white heads go away
-Made my bigger pimples smaller or flat
- It didn't try out my skin, only my pimples, maybe because I dotted it on or something but the funny thing is when I washed it off my skin felt alot smoother! :D

Cons:

- Kind of burns, but maybe thats just me
- Some people are alergic to baking soda and/or peroxide and that's the main ingredents in a whitening tooth paste so the first time you do it I recomend you only do it in one area and but just a tiny bit on to see if your skin is alergic or if you have an alergic reaction!

It cleared up most of my acne, made the redness go away or fade and it's something you should have lying around in your bathroom anyway. USE THE PASTE NOT THE GEL and it actually made my skin feel softer. All skin types are different though so it might not do the exact same for you but I would try it.

Pros:

-Takes away Cystic acne in a 1-3 days more or less depends on skin type i suppose
-Easy to get ahold of
-Scars litterally peeled off the skin to bring up clearer brighter skin :)
-dries up pimples in a few hours so maybe a good thing to try before a date or social event

Cons:

-Burned my skin the first time i tried , had to wait 3-4 days before the burned skin peeled off

Toothe paste is the mega miracle for cystic acne i couldnt beileve when i got this cyst on my chin how BP couldnt get the cyst down nor SA but the tooth paste showed swelling go down and redness in only one night. It was amazing i would deffinitely try this on one spot first because it does burn the skin and im a medium brown tone and the butn mark showedd horrible. Try using more natural home remedies , i use this site all of the time and i went from moderate acne to very light acne , actually i have no acne to be perfectly honest except one trouble spot which is my chin which refuses to die down but the bumps arnt that noticble , only to me so im ok. Try maybe... - baking soda + water as a scrub -ACV as toner -Green tea + water + spray bottle as a toner -Honey for cleanser And i see this site is mainly adults talking but for the teens that see's this, im only 15 lol So yes this will even work for you :) Chow.

Pros:

Dried up pimple/zit so easier for it too fall off
Reduced swelling by alot!
Reduced redness!
Faster results than waiting out
Fastest easy thing Ive tried.

Cons:

Tiny sting (not that much)
A little annoying, because having white on your face
IS NOT OVERNIGHT MAGIC, just like everything it takes it time. ( but still FASTER )
This did not happen to me, but if you do it TOO MUCH it could scar. ( easy enough to coverup though)

Works very well for those nasty sits you get occasionally. What I did was kept it on overnight, but would not suggest keeping it on all night if you have sensitive skin. It was the fastest thing I've tried, I've used so many types of acne cleansers, they all work for a little and then stop. This does the trick for the huge ones. I would not recommend this daily, it is an occasional thing. OVERALL: Try it, you never know if this could do wonders for you, it works pretty well! BTW I used Aquafresh ;) do not know if it makes a difference but don't use gel!! ONLY WHITE PASTE!

Pros:

DOES work in reducing inflammation and redness.

Cons:

None.

If you use this home remedy (which I do highly recommend) please, please be sure that you use toothPASTE not the gel kind. Also, don't drown the pimple in the toothpaste!!! You don't need a lot, just a dab on the pimple, and you must rub it in so you can no longer see the toothpaste. Make sure you do this right before you go to bed. As soon as you wake up in the morning, gently wipe it off with a damp cloth. The pimple should be visibly reduced.

Pros:

I definately helps in redicing acne

I definately helps but you should use it before bed and after a face scrub so you face is clean and free of icky oils. Before bed put a towel on your pillow, they are easier to wash than sheets, sleep. When you wake up in the morning take a damp warm rag and let it rest of your face it makes the toothpase easier to get off and its relaxing then slowly and gently wipe off the toothpaste DO NOT SCRUB AT YOUR FACE. My family has done this with close-up toothpaste for years but only do it one once a week and increase according to your skin.

It frickin works.
Obviously you should only use a simple more mint or white paste. Don't be stupid, don't use Colgate or any cinnamon flavored toothpaste. I recommend crest. I put it on at night or I put it on in the day if the pimples are painful. The toothpaste removes the pimple and reduces swelling and pain. There is a huge be. S. Campaign out to smear this in home treatment. Funded by the manufacturers of acne treatments, benzoyl peroxide, and by dermatologists.

-Its cheap!
-Makes swelling go down within an hour
-Reduces pimple size within 2-3 days
-Can be used overnight
-Reduces redness...fast!

Toothpaste is a little zit-zapping fiend! I absolutley love using toothpaste. Whenever I see a big pimple swelling up, I just put on a dab of toothpaste and ta-da! Swelling goes doooooown. DEFINITLEY recommend it if your looking for a fast, effective and cheap way to reduce your pimples.
