Neutrogena : Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therapy System

I've used this product for a month now and I am experiencing mixed results. After a week into using this product, all of my cyst (large pimple with pus) have dried out and so as the tiny pimples all over my face. The following week, most of these bumps in my face have been almost reduced completely and my face had not seen any new pimples since then. Now the third week is when everything went haywire. My face started to get oily and new pimples are starting to appear. At first i thought this was normal as my dermatologist told me before that its natural to have more breakouts when using a product before you start seeing definitive results. But after a week of patiently waiting my face hasnt gotten any better. And I'm now experiencing itchiness which can be really annoying especially when i try and go to sleep; it bothers throughout the entire day. I don't know if its the lotion that's causing this as I haven't any problems before with benozyl and salysic. Even though i'm only a month into the product, I dont think I will get the same results like i did during the first two weeks of use. The only reason i am recommending this product despite of not working on me is because my sister is enjoying quite a success with this product. Her acne severity is light and after a month of use all of her pimples are gone. I think this product is mainly for light to moderate acnes. This system is good for those with light acnes but I suggest for those people with severe acnes to look for an alternative product.

I've had acne since high school. It's been 5 years since I graduated and still suffered from breakouts. Dermatologists gave me Retinol-Micro, amongst other products that never worked. I tried ProActive which worked one week an counteracted the next. Ive tried Noxema and other store products that were harsh on my skin. Dermalogica worked for a while, but it's expensive! Neutrogena has saved my skin and my confidence! Im almost 23 and I now have the skin to prove it! It looks fresh, clean, clear, and I have control! The redness of my past acne scars has decreased rapidly, I no longer suffer from daily break outs, my husband loves touching my face! I have had horrible acne for over a year...I cried multiple times over it. I decided to use this since it was inexpensive and I had already spent so much money on trying to solve my dilemma. I had prayed so much that this would work and that God could use the chemicals in this to work and take away my blemishes. I also began using aloe vera gel from Fruit of the Earth as a night cream (or more like a mask I guess). It worked. Within one week the acne on my cheeks had completely healed and the scars left behind were fading fast, due to the aloe vera. I haven't had success with anything until now. I am so excited and so happy about my healthy (smooth!! Eeeee! :D ) skin. I don't feel embarrased or have to wear tons of foundation just so I can at least squint in the mirror and look like I have pretty skin. God is good, let him take control of the problem and he will take care of it. Within three weeks it greatly cleared up my red bumps, small pimples, tightened pores in my blackhead areas, and those bumps that are not quite pimples but seem to be everywhere. It seems to stop acne in its tracks, no new zits to look for each morning. Face feels smoother! Day lotion works well under mineral makeup. I think it is a great and easy system to use and I can introduce different products like a face peel or mask every week without over drying/irritating my face. Unfortunately, my cystic acne is has not greatly abated with this system but it seems to have reduced the size of them when they do surface. I recommend easing into the system at first. Use the cleanser and day lotion daily and introduce night lotion every other night. Start using it every night after a week or two. That should help with the irritation. I read alot of people complain that it stings alot. If you really want your acne to go away you have to just bear with it, because its basically just frying your acne away. Just suck it up lol.. I only put the moisturizer on my pimples not on my whole face, so my whole face isn't dry. Then I use my normal face cream on the other areas. I have been using this morning and night for about a month. My pimples are not there just red spots. Every day the redness goes away little by little. I can only say for myself but this product really works for me. I have use clinique and that is also very good but this is so much cheaper and I have had the same results. I am so happy I bought this.

I LOVE IT! The best Acne product I've ever used.

This product works amazing! The first night I used it I woke up with less redness in my skin, a smooth and clearer face overall, and added radiance. I have used this product a little over two weeks now and the results just keep getting better. For the first time in my teenage and adult life I have an almost perfect complexion. My only concern now is finding a product that will get rid of my old acne scars so that I can go without makeup and feel beautiful. I picked up Neutrogena's Fight and Fade gel last night though so I will let you all know if that helps with the acne scars. At the present time though I could not be happier with the results this product has given me. I have tried everything from ProActiv to Dermalogica to Clean and Clear and other store products and nothing has given me these kind of results! Buy this product!

People write, "I have tried everything," and I am no different. I am 26 and have struggled with "stubborn" acne since I was 12. After a horrible turn with Proactiv (a product which I believe is very bad for your skin and would not recommend long-term to anyone) I went to pricey products that seemed to work well, i.e. Kate Somerville, Kinerase, Biotherm, Phytomer, and Erno Laszlo. With all of these products, my skin would look great for about a month and then would get used to the products and the acne would reappear. A few months ago I went to my beauty product go-to, Allure's Best of Beauty list, and read they suggested Neutrogena. In my years I had become a bit of a product snob, believing that the pricier, more organic products would be best. Alas, I was wrong. Neutrogena's acne kit has consistently made my skin beautiful. Hands down. I still use a Kate Somerville peptide cream at night to help reduce the dryness. Bottom Line: Neutrogena = Miracle.

I've used a lot of different cleansers and acne solutions over the years, but unfortunately none could help me. I tried Pro-Activ, and that did a really nice job on my skin. Unfortunately I didn't like to wait two months to receive it. One day I ran out and went without it for a couple of weeks. My skin broke out again. I needed something fast, so I drove down to a drug store and I tried Neutrogena Advanced Solutions. I was skeptical at first, but I was desperate so I tried it. To my astonishment not only did it work, it worked better and faster than Pro Activ! It cleared up my skin, the moisturizer kept it from drying out, and I was very happy with the results. I canceled my subscription to Pro-Activ, but now that I can't find this Neutrogena product anywhere it looks like I might have to go back to Pro-Activ. I've tried AcneFree Clear Skin System, and that stuff doesn't work nearly as well as Neutrogena or Pro-Activ. In fact I hate using it, but right now it's the only thing that was mildly helpful. I tried other Neutrogena products, and they also don't work the way the Advanced Solutions Therapy System did. If Neutrogena doesn't put this product back on the shelves, I'm going back to Pro-Activ. By the way, I found that certain make-up foundations will work against the acne products. Ever since I started using Bare Minerals Make-up in combination with Pro-Activ or Neutrogena Advanced Solutions, my skin has been looking great. Some days it seemed like I didn't even need make-up, that's how clear it was! Using any other foundation was a disaster and made it seem like the acne products weren't working. Turns out Bare Minerals is the way to go!

I have dry and sensitive skin with a clear forehead, nose and cheeks. But my lip, chin, and jawline would get terrible acne (cystic and whiteheads). My face was always blotchy, VERY sensitive and red, too. I've been using Clean&Clear Advantage for a few months, and it was alright. But THIS PRODUCT WAS A MIRACLE. I've only been using it for a little more than a week, but my face is smoother, better complextion, even skin tone, less redness, and most importantly diminishing pimples. I actually looked in the mirror today and said "wow, this is what I look like with nice skin". I cannot wait until the upcoming months when my skin is completely cured.
