Feels like a bad sunburn
I do not recommend using ACV on your face at all. A lot of people talk about how it is some kind of miracle serum but I tried it 3 days ago and it gave me bad burns like a sunburn. It hurts to moisturize or put aloe Vera on but it helps to do both. A website recommended to mix Apple Cider Vinager and lemon juice and leave it on your face for an hour.... BAD, BAD, BAD, ADVICE!!! ACV must be properly diluted before use and honestly it's not worth it. I did some research and even people who have used it regularly are at risk of getting severe burns.

Evened skin tone but did not help acne
Using this (diluted with water) as a toner did indeed help even the color of my skin, but did nothing to help my acne. It kinda stung upon application, but definitely reduced some redness in my face. I would recommend as an occasional toner, I found using this every other day helped even my skin tone. I stopped because I found a better toner, and having to make this concoction and take it everywhere was annoying.

Did you dilute it with water? I think you should stick to it for a couple of weeks to see results. Mine was about 3-4 weeks after I saw a difference but it's worth it.

Works like a dream
I mix 1/2 and 1/2 Braggs ACV and witch hazel and use morning and night after cleansing. It has decreased inflammation and controls my oily T-zone without over-drying. Love it :)

Clearing my skin
its been less than a week and my acne bumps are already clearing up! On top of that my skin looks healthy and glowy (beside the areas with the dark spots from the acne)

Minimal results, but a handy pick-me-up
I have come back to ACV as a cheap toner quite a few times now, but on it's own I never see a huge difference. If your skin's feeling a little gross still after washing it can help out, and it does seem to have a smoothing effect, but I saw no major differences in my acne. It's nice, but certainly not the miracle cure for acne, and can make skin more sensitive if you already have sensitive skin. Generally, I only use ACV when I'm not on any prescribed medicine because it is too drying. Even then though, if I use it every day than after maybe a week my skin will start to get dry unless I slather on loads of moisturizer. So overall I use it sparingly. Also, I find that it works best in a spray bottle rather than on cotton pads because of the rubbing. But, given how recently my skin has been dry and much more oily than usual, I may go back to ACV anyway.

Four stars since it stinks
So I just started using this, it hasn't even been a week and I could already tell the difference. My acne is throughout my jawline and by the side of sideburns and a few on my forehead I recently got. Anyways this pretty much helped my inflammation of my acne go down and Took some spots, scars, and acne away. I mixed it with water first, 2 oz of vinegar and 2 oz of water, I have plenty left still. I only use two Cotten balls to cover my whole face. Also I use it at night, the only sh*tty part is it stinks. And I also use moisturizer after it fully dries. I'm also using an organic aloe vera gel in the morning after I wash my face. This has also helped with the redness and it helps with your skin glow and some acne. I still use it since it was 20 bucks. 🙄 But I also use Carley's clear and smooth tea tree face wash and their shea butter soap as an everyday use. I still use it since it did help with my acne in the beginning but for whatever reason my acne somehow got triggered by something and it got worse. Like I said it did help, I was clearing up but then I got acne for whatever reason again. Carley's midnight moisturizer tho is really good, the aloe vera gel does make my face really dry and flakey but once i put on the midnight moisturizer it goes completely away and it doesn't make my skin oily. ( best moisturizer i have ever used) So that's a plus. I use the moisturizer day and night, there is a day moisturizer at Carley's but I didn't like it as much. i also take L-Lysine in pills, it helps with hormonal acne, which is the acne thats on your jawline. it has helped me, since I started using it my jawline has become clearer also with the help of acv. If interested I use l- lysine by Thorne. 10$ on amazon. Give y'all and update in a month.

Amazing
This product is really great. I use as a toner everyday right now. The only down side is it's smell. You will get used to it eventually if you keep on using it. This product didn't really fix everything about my acne, but it helped me manage my moderate acne. Good luck!!

ACV advice please
Hi I'm a 17 year old male and have had acne since 13/14. I never get cystic acne but I have a face full of medium sized red dots. I used benzoyl peroxide with clindamycin as phosphate 1% and benzoyl peroxide 5% last summer and my face was almost completely cleared but I still had about 15 red spots on either side of face so I went to my doctor again because my prescription was used up and she prescribed Epideo to finish clearing up my face. Ok, that is when ALL HELL broke LOOSE! I started breaking out NONSTOP. My face got totally red and pealed like crazy in the beginning but now I'm more used to it. I'm still using it a couple times a week. When I was so dry I started using coconut oil which helped so much with dryness but I firmly believe that it breaks me out, I have tried it twice and each time it feels GREAT but after about a week after using it once or twice I break out in very small dots everywhere. I firmly believe in curing acne naturally and have for the past couple months eliminated all dairy, most sugar and most meat from my diet and I always eat a homemade vegetable soup consisting of green peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes and celery. I eat this for most of my meals daily. And have been using a multivitamin plus zinc and vit d3 4-5,000 IU per day. Plus I drink lots of alkaline water every day and wash my face with acidic 4.0 water. My face has not cleared up in the least. Do you think it's because I have only been doing it for 2-3 months or am I doing something wrong. I also run/work in a woodworking business with LOTS of dust, is this a negative for my skin? If so what can I do to help? I've read MANY reviews on Acne.org and YouTube of how people healed there acne by drinking and/or using Apple Cider vinegar as a topical. And what I have noticed is most people that this has helped are people that are close to there 20s or older I'm 17, so if someone could give me some advice if I should run to the store and pig out on ACV or not, and my whole acne disaster I would be soooo grateful. My email is daviddyck17@[link removed] Thanks!!!! P.S. I hang out only one day a week and try to hide my face as much as possible. I HATE my face and have for so long, if this would help me get cleared I would have my life back!! #fingerscrossed

I would stop using coconut oil on your face as it is fairly comedogenic - meaning it clogs your pores - so you are most likely correct in saying that is has caused some of your breakouts. I would look into other oils for your face if you wish to go this route - there are so many natural bloggers that can give you more advice and specific oils/routines. (Personally, I would start by doing random searches on Pinterest, ie. 'facial oils' 'natural acne cure' and then finding blogs that way). If you are going to use ACV as a topical toner, you NEED to dilute it with water. So half ACV and half distilled water twice daily on your face as a toner if you wish to use this product. I would also recommend seeing an esthetician in conjunction to seeing a dermatologist. While insurance covers a dermatologist and not an esthetician, they may be able to help you with more natural cures and home remedies as opposed to a dermatologist who just writes prescription after prescription (been there , done that, I know how frustrating that is!). My last piece of advice is to try not to let your skin hold you back! I am 23 and have been struggling with acne for about 10 years now. While I have never cystic acne like some, I do know how insecure your skin can make you. So while you are trying all these different things to clear your skin, try to make peace with what you have and love yourself BECAUSE of your imperfections! Good luck :)

Worsened Acne
I tried this for a month, first diluting it (half water, half apple cider vinegar) and working up to undiluted. I used Bragg's. It only made my face worse, so I decided to stop using it on my face. It caused acne in places I've never seen acne before. I went back to benzoyl peroxide, and now it's repairing the damage. I read hundreds of great reviews, thinking this would most definitely work, but it turned out it only made things worse. I really would like to see before and after pictures of the people who said apple cider vinegar worked (topically), because I used it for a month to disappointment. If it truly did help them, then I assume ACV just simply doesn't like my face.

well for me, apple cider vinegar really faded the acne on my face a lot. i went from almost cystic acne to barely any after using ACV but yes i also have been experiencing breakouts on&around my nose and thats unusual bc i barely break out there so i'm debating on whether i should keep using it or just give it up. because the rest of my face feels so much more balanced bc of ACV besides my nose.

Awesome
I like apple cider vinegar. A cyst was forming on my forehead where it's pretty clear just some few little small bumps and I put it on and surprisingly it didn't get as bad as It used to. And in 2 days it dried up and disappeared from my forehead. It didn't get as big as it used to. It works well with cystic acne that's either forming or that's there. Also I've used this before but stopped. now I broke out a lot and will try this again hope it will work. The reason it has 4 stars is because it stings your eyes a lot when applying but oh well hehe.
