Pros:

In my experience, less drying than Dan's 2.5% treatment and stronger too.

Cons:

quite hard to find.

Have been on the Dan's regimen for about 2 years, never quite had my skin clear. Costed a lot of money so I switched out all products for UK based ones and with Brevoxyl i'm finally clear!

Excellent product self esteem saver!
Better than every other topical product I've tried - and I've tried nearly all of them. I know it's only 4% but if applied like dan says in his regimen it works absolutely brilliantly. I've suffered with acne my whole life and my self esteem has been saved by brevoxyl. Pleasant fragrance and sinks in quickly. Got a bit of dryness at first but moisturising helped and after a while so did the dryness. Great product.

Pros:

I have not yet experienced any dryness (I have been using this product for around three days) and it has effectively cleared some of my acne.

Cons:

The advice within the packet recommended using the product at the same time every day, which I find difficult.

Though I have had limited experience with this product, I would recommend it for light acne. I never used to have major breakouts, but I just started on the contraceptive pill and it's contributed to an increase in whiteheads etc. After reading the reviews above I am a bit concerned about flaking and peeling, but I shall make sure to apply more moisturiser to hopefully prevent this. I haven't yet had this side effect and haven't experienced and redness or irritation. So far, so good. =)

Pros:

Like the large tube, I keep it on the shelf in my shower. I like the creaminess also. Seems to be working really well, my skin is almost completely clear.

Cons:

Lol, hating the bleaching factor for my towels, I had to switch to white. My skin is dry but not horribly so.

It took me a few days to get into my regime of the was, the lotion, duac, and then actually remembering to put on moisturizer. I only use this in the AM (using retin A Micro at night) but so far I like it. I do use a makeup remover first cause I don't want it near my eyes. I think as long as you use a good moisturizer it's relatively easy.

Pros:

despite beeing bp doesn't dry your skin that much, may be combined with other products, should help when having mild acne

Cons:

it may help reducing your acne, but won't stop forming all of the pimples

it's quite good

Pros:

Within a couple of days of using this product I had no new spots forming and the old ones had begun to fade so it worked very quickly

Cons:

It dries the skin and used it morning and evening for three days and woke up in the morning with a VERY puffed up face. It said on the leaflet that it can cause temporary facial swelling though and I wasn't going out that day for which I'm very glad.

The product definitely works, but if you only have mild to moderate acne then be careful that you don't use too much. I think once every other night will be enough for me as I'm still trying to exfoliate all this dry skin off lol

Pros:

ive used brevoxyl 4% BP cream for well over a year and its been terrific at treating my acne. works really quick and kills acne very well.

Cons:

dries out skin a lot... you need to use a good moisturiser to retain any of your sanity!

great product as far as treating acne... has never let me down and ive been using it for about a year and a half now. remember the dryness tho... make sure you have a good acne healthy moisturiser present to use also. follow dans reg closely.

Pros:

cleared some of my adult acne, but I can't say more because I have been using it only for 8 days!

Cons:

The smeell is really annoying!

I have been using brevoxyl mixed with Avene diacneal (this was the prescribed tratment from my dermatologist) for 8 days now and I am pleased with the results. I don't really have that much acne, but the last months I had a hormonal break out, especially on my chin, which kind of weird because when I han real acne in my teens (I am 34 now), I only had ance on my cheeks. Anyway I was very depressed of my latest skin condition so after trying some products I finally decided to go to the derm. So far I am very pleased with the results. But I must mention that I do not use brevoxyl on its own but in conjuction with avene diacneal.

Pros:

In my experience there are none.

Cons:

I had a severe allergic reaction to this product. I only used it twice and my face became very swollen and I got an outbreak of pimples everywhere on my face.I have had to take a week off work, the doc has given me steroids and antiobiotics

Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Has anyone had a similar reaction? I am worried there will be long term damage.
