Pros:

Quick results! Not harsh. Smells great. Works well on oily skin. Cures the big zits to the small bumps & blackheads.

Cons:

Zero!

I tried this product after a one month trial of proactive. The poactive did nothing for me, so a friend told me about the st. Ives scrub. My expectations weren't very high based on the low cost, but I decided it was worth a shot. I have been so amazed with the results! Right away I started getting compliments. I highly recommend this product, and at 3 bucks...it's a no brainer.

Pros:

great for blackheads that are tough to reach like on your nose, skin feels so smooth after using, smells great and is very inexpensive, sold almost anywhere.

Cons:

I would not rely on this to clear up acne but it does a great job of exfoliating skin! Also, make sure you are not allergic to walnuts because if you read the ingredients on the back, walnut shavings are in it!

I would use this if I didn't really have bad acne but would like to get rid of a few blackheads here and there and to exfoliate dead skin cells that naturally build up,

Pros:

Made skin soft, was cheap, doesn't take long to use, gentle enough for my skin type.

Cons:

Alittle redness afterwards.

I have always had tough skin especially along my jawline but this stuff made my skin nice and soft. Definitely recommended :) though I have no acne or breakouts ever so I am not sure how it treats that.

Worth buying!
This will make your skin feel so smooth! And the smell of it is just a bonus! However, the particles are slightly rough and larger than other typical exfoliators. I've used this time and time again, almost two to three times a week (as suggested) and you can definitely see the difference in how soft and smooth your skin feels. It removes dead skin and any other slight imperfections. Although I have acne prone skin, with a careful and gentle wash, it shouldn't cause breakouts of any kind.

Pros:

It cleansed my face. My face felt so much softer afterwards and noticed slight difference from having moderate acne. It works great with my other acne-medicated product.

Cons:

Redness occured and also dryness, but nothing too heavy nor painful.

I recommend this. Although I only suggest to exfoliate your face at leats 3 times a week, or the natural oil on your face, that's protecting it from breaking out or dryness can be removed. But of course use a good moisturizer.

Pros:

Love this and my daughter uses the blackhead and acne brand. I always feel like a fresh face after use. Skin is soft and feels clean.

Cons:

For those that use it so long ago, use the milder band.

Cost can be annoying - hard to find a coupon.

I dont'use it everyday, but at least 3x a week. This keeps my face feeling and looking clean and smooth.

Pros:

*smells nice
*beads not too harsh
*Exfoliates well
*gets rid of pimples

Cons:

*Did not get rid of blackheads

This is a great product to use every other day for exfoliation. It does remove pimples and light acne. The only downside being that it did not remove the blackhead which it claimed it would. Having said that, i do feel its a great product and i have been using it for a year and definitly consider it to be something that i would not change. I recommend it to anyone who has light to moderate acne and wishes to have a scrub that would leave skin feeling fresh and soft.

Not as effective as it use to be.
I've religiously used St Ives Apricot Scrub for around 10 years. Unfortunately, I find that it doesn't combat my breakouts as well as it use to so I've had to switch over to a new product.

Pros:

Great smell. Fresh feeling. Diminishes acne. Low price. Washes away oil.

Cons:

Scrub is rough.

Reduces appearance of acne, gets rid of the oil and exfoliates my skin. It didn't dry it out. The price is amazing and I recommend it.
