Amazing!
I have had moderate acne for 7 years. I've tried everything for my skin from over the counter to various doctor prescribed pills and creams! Most ended up drying out my skin horribly, as well as hardly reducing the acne I had if not making it worse and just left me frustrated. I decided to give Manuka honey a try about 2-3 weeks ago after reading about the success so many people had. Of course I was skeptical, I mean when I say I have tried everything I've tried EVERYTHING, and I hardly believed something like honey would clear my face. I started using the honey as a one hour face mask everyday with spot treatment on formed/forming pimples overnight. The first few days all I really noticed was a slight decrease in inflammation of the acne I had and my face felt more hydrated and was way less flakey. Around day 4-5 I broke out quite a bit. At this point I thought here we go another failed attempt. However I continued using it vowing to at least give it 10 days. I'm now on week two and a half and my face has NEVER looked better !!!! I have not ONE single pimple and the pimples that formed after the initial breakout cleared up within a few days rather than weeks! My skin tone is more even, it looks so healthy and the few red spots you have left over after a pimple goes away are starting to fade. My skin is not dry, not irritated and has NO new zits forming! It even worked on the occasional cysts I get that normally take a month to clear up, reducing it to nothing but a red mark within 5 days! I have even gotten compliments on how good my skin looks which for me is crazy! I'm hardly ever impressed by anything I use on my skin but this impressed me so much I just had to share! I'm even considering going out without face makeup on I love my skin so much now! Highly recommend giving it a try, after all what do you have to lose! Make sure you give it time to work, you most likely won't see immediate results!

I use Wedderspoon with a Kfactor of 16+ it has worked great for me!

Pros:

Natural!
Cleared up moderate acne from medication breakout within a week.
Greatly reduces redness and irritation.
Gives a beautiful glow to my skin that I've NEVER had.
yummy lol

Cons:

Sticky and messy.
Don't put too much on or it will drip.

I had mediocre expectations of this product. I went and bought raw manuka honey 15+ after I had a horrible initial breakout from a retinoid, and the NEXT DAY almost all the firey red zits on my chin (about 15) had flattened and become non-inflamed. This definitely speeds up the healing process!! I used this as a mask for the first few days at night, then switched to the morning. Now I use it as a mask few times a week, leaving it on between 30 min to an hour, and spot treat if a small pimple if forming. I can feel it actually working, but there is no stinging, tingling, or burning. My friend commented how my skin is glowing and she thought I had makeup on. I told her I didn't but that I've been using this stuff and she couldn't believe it. It has smoothed my blotchy dry and pink skin, and made it very soft. I feel my T-zone is more balanced. I bought it at a farmers market, and I do not care what the price is. I've wasted thousands of dollars on harsh prescription drugs that just made my skin worse. Just simply try this! From a woman who has been struggling with acne for a decade and tried EVERYTHING (even accutane), this is almost a miracle treatment. If you're paranoid you'll breakout, test spot it first.

Pros:

- reduces inflammatory acne dramatically
- lightens skin, reduces redness significantly
- less swelling, spots heal fast

Cons:

- just a bit sticky!

I am in love with manuka honey. I admit that I get annoyed using it sometimes, because it's honey (so it's a little sticky, gets in my hair, drips if applied too thickly, etc). However, the results far outweigh the "hassle" in my opinion! If you read up on manuka honey, it is the highest quality, most potently antibacterial honey you can buy. The cost is due to the fact that it is harvested in remote locations in New Zealand, and the highest quality manuka can only be extracted from wild manuka blossoms! So please don't hate on the price too much, you really, really do get what you pay for. And it is the bomb--if my memory serves me, medical practice during wartime soaked bandages in manuka honey, to encourage healing of open wounds and prevent bacterial infection. There are stories of manuka honey curing all types of skin diseases. It is just a wonderful discovery, and all you have to do is press click on the checkout on Amazon (or wherever, go to Whole Foods lol)! If you're confused by the numbers seen on the bottles (12+, 16+, 20+), that is the "unique manuka factor," which is a standardized scale to explain the potency and quality of the manuka in the honey. Beware of some companies, who claim to have high-grade manuka but really don't! I wouldn't trust "MGO" ratings (which scale around 250+ to 500+), but just UMF ratings. The 12+ will be the cheapest, sure, but the quality makes a huge difference from 12+ to 16+, and it was well worth the money in my opinion. It's hard to find a good company that sells 20+, but Watson & Son's "Black Label" seems promising. I'm waiting for it to be sold online. As for 16+ manuka, results can be seen the next day. Just look at all your blemishes: applying manuka honey for a couple hours (just slather it on, and go watch some TV!) will reduce the size of these spots in half, and inflammation will reduce immediately. When you suffer a breakout, don't be afraid to try this! Add some Aztec Healing Cl

Pros:

(This is the results of using Manuka Honey with Lemon Juice Treatments)
*Speeds up healing of pimples
*Helps get rid of whiteheads
*Speeds up the process of getting rid of hyper pigmentation (dark spots) left over from pimples

Cons:

*Messy (but worth it)
*Initial purging phase
*Lemon Juice dries out the skin so some flaking or dryness (but I use the Lemon Juice mask almost everyday, so you can avoid this by reducing it down to 3 times a week)
*Requires some patience

I've had acne/acne scars for 9+ yrs so I know the devastating blow it has to your self confidence which sucks bc I'm 23 and this is supposed to be my "prime". I have active pimples, whiteheads, post acne dark spots, and pitted scars (I was a picker for 9+ years and it shows). I used strong BP face wash and spot treatments for 3 years with little to no relief. 3 weeks ago I started using Lemon Juice mask and Manuka Honey Masks. I first exfoliate using St Ives Green Tea scrub (St Ives apricot scrub every other day for more exfoliation). It's VERY IMPORTANT to exfoliate when using honey and lemon masks. I dry my skin and squeeze half a lemon all over my face (It'll sting and itch, if you have sensitive skin, dilute with water). I let it dry for an hour. I then rinse that off with water ONLY. I pat my skin dry and then apply Manuka Honey all over my face and keep that on for as long as I can until I'm about ready for bed (anywhere from 1 hr-5hrs). I rinse that off using just water, pat my skin dry, and apply lotion (use oil free. I have oily skin and I used to not wear lotion until I realized I was ruining my skin by skipping this step, so don't skip!). I will warn you guys, for me personally, I had an initial purging phase for about the first week maybe a little longer. Meaning when I first started using I had clusters of whiteheads appear and got a few pimples. I think that was the honey bringing the underlying gunk up to the surface. But I stuck with it and the whiteheads cleared away pretty quick and the pimples came to a head (as much as I was tempted to, I didn't pick at them) and went away quick. 3 weeks later? 90% of whiteheads are gone I only have one small pimple on my chin which is already near its end phase of almost disappearing Dark spots have lightened about 25% -35%(taking some time, but definitely fading) No change for pitted scars (wasn't expecting any) Not an overnight miracle, but for me it's work

The Best Cure for Scars and Active Acne
Manuka honey (the stronger the better) is a little miracle worker for my skin! Regular raw honey is also very good for skin care but it will not come even close with Manuka regarding the fast healing benefits and acne controlling properties. I've suffered from moderate cystic/hormonal acne for the past 6 years. I've gone through expensive treatments regularly in the salon and used so many products to help keep my skin clear but nothing has really helped me since now. I've been using +15 Active and Raw Manuka Honey for two weeks and I can already see so much improvements in my skin! The dry patches are gone, my skin is moisturised and plump, my oilyness is much reduced and my old scars are beginning to fade very fast. Also the breakouts are not so painful and long-lasting as they used to be, they also heal very quickly! I use Raw and Active Manuka Honey every day on my skin as a mask for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes I use it even longer if I have the time. It is truely a miracle worker for me and I will definitely keep it in my skin care regimen for now on! I am so impressed and so in love with this stuff! If you decide to use Manuka make sure to use ACTIVE and RAW honey from New Zeland and to put in on clean and damp face to reap all the goodliness it has to offer! May the force (of Manuka) be with you!

AMAZING!

Pros:

Very Effective
Fast
Tasty

Cons:

none

I had a recent break out that was horrible! I picked at it and my skin was scabbed beyond belief. I was desperate and decided to try this after seeing the good reviews everywhere. I healed my scabs. Took away any pimples, reduced redness, and those pesky marks you get after popping them.

No miracle, but definitely helps!
This is the best thing I have found recently for cystic acne. After doing research I found that cystic acne is really a clue to whats going on INSIDE your body mainly digestion, and showing up on your face. Doing some research into this, I can see why it poses so many benefits. I tried it on 5 cystic f'ers on my chin. The older ones decreased in redness and a little in size from one day (i spot treated for probably 3 hours with a mixture of manuka, cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg). The newest pimple that had arrived that morning came to a head by the evening. I was amazed... normally it takes like a week for a cystic pimple to even come a head but by night, there was a white head. I did an all over pain manuka mask tonight and then spot treated with the extra powered mixture. it seems to really heal them better too. Its not a miracle worker- you can't put it on and expect the huge pimples to be gone. But what I did notice different than any other medication was that it brought it to a head faster, therefore decreasing the time from breakout-healing.

Pros:

super gentle
natural
effective

Cons:

$$$
sticky

I recently threw out all of my commercial products. This included about $300+ of product. Okay, I didnt really throw it all out. I just shoved it away for a while so I wouldnt be tempted to use it. So I use manuka honey on my acne prone areas for about 30 minutes a day, and follow up with jojoba oil and tea tree oil on my acne prone areas. My skin has never looked better. If you are looking for a holistic approach, at least try it. As of today I have no active acne. This was my saviour.

Manuka honey-the best thing ever!

Pros:

Reduces acne
Easy to use
Natural

Cons:

Sticky

I started using manuka honey about a week ago, factor 22 every night thinly on my face and small spoon oraly every second day. And after years dealing with moderate acne my face is nearly clear. I have not had any nasty spot from the moment I started and just few blackheads left. My skin colour evened and I feel no itchiness at all. Amazing stuff!

Definitely worth trying!
Manuka honey is one of my favorite go-to remedies for a whole host of skin issues. Look for the type that is "Active 16+" as this indicates it is very beneficial on calming inflammation and promoting antibacterial activity. Manuka honey works great as a weekly face mask. To use it this way, apply a warm cloth to the face for about a minute to open pores, then spread about a tablespoon of the honey around the entire face. Leave it on at least 15 minutes or longer, an hour or more is even better. It is very sticky as honey is that way, but it will rinse off easily. It works really well as an overnight pimple spot treatment. To use it this way, apply a small amount to cover the pimple, then put a small bandaid over the area. The bandaid will keep the honey in contact with the skin and prevent it from making a sticky mess on your bedding. I have found that the overnight treatment significantly reduces swelling and redness and speeds up the healing process.
