Great product!!
I didn't try these stridex salicylic acid pads for years because I thought they were drugstore crap. But, boy was I wrong! Don't be fooled because they are cheap. They have 2% salicylic acid at the right ph for maximum exfoliation & the perfect amount of oil control, without drying out your skin, as they are alcohol free. So glad I found them, and you should try them too! You will not be dissappointed.

Good for oily skin.

Pros:

Cleared most acne
Fresh feeling
Easy to use

Cons:

Can burn
The smell

I used these when I had very oily skin. It kept my oil at bay, and made my skin feel fresh. However, now that my skin is sensitive and dry, I cannot use these. I however LOVE the Stridex brand Pads. The sensitive ones are amazing. Better than these I even think. This version did although help clear my acne on my forehead.

Pros:

-After using the pad, you see the brown dirt from your face
-Your face feels refreshed, tingly and tight
-It smells like it'll help

Cons:

-I have moderate acne skin (it gets a little worse when I'm stressed) and I used these pads for weeks, but my acne didn't clear up, or reduce. It stayed the same.

These pads are like washing your face. (But you can do that for cheaper, with a facecloth, some soap and water!)

Pros:

Occasionally clears up acne. Sometimes helps with zits that you can pop. [it makes them smaller]

Cons:

Very inconsistent. I have sensitive skin, and my skin is now EXTREMELY dry. Temporarily makes affected area redder, and sometimes burns. Has basically no affect on the kind of zits that you can't pop.

Do not use if you have sensitive skin, or at least don't use more than once daily.

Pros:

Great clear feeling, much less redness, easy to use. I didn't experience any flaking or other discoloration from this product. Great price!

Cons:

Doesn't clear all acne, you should use other spot treatments after application.

"The best money can buy," is not always true. Stridex salicylic acid pads are very easy to use and you will get good results. I'm 14 and have mild acne, mostly on my chin and upper lip. Occasionally I would flare you with a big red zit around my nose. These help prevent those big zits, keeping your face clean and feeling refreshed. Also, my skin used to be very oily- so much that I would go on stage or under a bright light and would really notice a sheen on my face. These really clear the excess oil off my face.

Pros:

Got rid of the zits that I did have

Cons:

Made me break out more.

I have all these little zits on my face it looks so gross. When I first used it, it burned my skin like crazy I figured it would subside, but it didnt. It just dried my skin out like crazy, even after I moisturized, my skin was still peeling. I did wash my face before hand every time. Id use it as a spot treatment because it does work on acne, but its just too strong for my skin.

Pros:

Works after awhile

Cons:

Harsh on the skin. PEELS!

This item actually works for acne, but it extremely harsh on the skin. It tends to make your face sting and burn. While using this product, my face peeled 2-3 times a week. It was tremendously embarassing. It will peels all throughout the mouth area. In my opinion, I think that there are other products that work just as well or even better, without drying out your skin.

Pros:

-Helps popped pimples heal quicker(in terms of redness and size)
-Nice smell

Cons:

-Didn't do much for my moderate-severe acne

While on this product I was using Oxy 10% bp wash and my skin was still pretty bad. Then once I stopped Oxy and only used this, my skin was REALLY bad. I was also using a moisturizer. This is a good product if you have very light-moderate acne.
