Pros:

-I like the smell!
-Great spot treatment for current acne, I will apply at night and in the morning the pimples are VISIBLY reduced and after 2-3 days (depending on the severity) they are usually all gone.
-Works great as a mask that you wash off as well. It makes your face brighter and a lot softer. You can tell that the dead skin has been removed.

I love this product!!

Cons:

-Makes you look like the incredible hulk! :-)

-The squeeze bottle is a bit messy, I have to agree. I haven't found the product in a jar like some people have said. Maybe it's not sold in my area like that? I will look online.

I use this as a full facial mask that I wash off 2x a week and as a spot treatment for current acne every night. Spots are visibly reduced by the next morning! I wash my face morning and night with an apricot scrub also. I think the combination of both of these products has done wonders for my face. I used to use acne wash and I would break out constantly because my face was so dried out and irritated. Now, I just use Queen Helene and my apricot scrub and my face is improved so much! I still get the occasional pimples (chin, neck area mostly) but they are not as severe and are gone within a few days. They are definitely not to the level they once were. And also my skin is no longer so red and blotchy! I used to constantly apply makeup to reduce redness, now I can practically forgot about foundation because my skin tone is a lot more even. I have suffered with moderate/severe acne for over 10 years and this product has been the only one to help me! I definitely recommend this product!!!! And it's cheap and lasts a long time too :)

Pros:

*Reduced amount of acne
*Reduced size of acne (slowly, but surely)
*Smells like spearmint gum.
*Somewhat reduces pore size
*Easy to apply-- Neither clumpy nor cakey
*Relaxing (The stinging feels good to me)
*Good as spot treatment or all-over mask
*Extremely Affordable

Cons:

*Will make skin dry if you don't moisturize.
*Some may not like the smell (I do..)
*The stinging may be bad if you have sensitive skin (I don't)
*Somewhat hard to wash off in the sink(it feels slippery). Much easier to wash off in the shower.

I've been using this for about 4 days now. I've used it everyday as an allover mask and I dabbed it on my active pimples and just left it on and went to bed or went on with my day. (if you have more sensitive skin, do not use it everyday.. Try once or twice a week or only spot treat.) My dad loves it because he said it's like the French clay mask my grandma and sister would send us--except it's cheaper and easier to access. I've noticed that my acne has been reduced. My pores are a little smaller afterward, too. The large pimple above my lip has been reduced by 60%. My other pimples have disappeared. I have less, smaller pimples now. It smells like spearmint gum. It's a light, pale green. The consistency is a thin paste. It's not runny, though. It's easily spreadable, so you do not have to smear it all over your face. It glides right on. It stings more when you first use it. If you have sensitive skin, this may bother you. As I used it more, the stinging was barely noticeable. When you wash it off, I recommend doing so while you take a shower. It's easier this way. When you re-wet it the texture is slippery. So, it will take a little longer to gently (without a washcloth) to wash it off in the sink. In the shower, the stream of water along with your hands make it come off easily. Apply moisturizer afterward, or you may get over dried and you may even peel. You can apply it on your spots before you sleep and let it dry. Yes, it may flake off, but it's a small price to pay, in my opinion. Wash your sheets regularly so it won't accumulate to much, though :P The product is very cheap. I purchased it for $2.50 (add tax) at my Dollar General. At my Walgreen's it was, I believe, $3.99. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for everyone to try it once. For the price, it's definitely worth a try. I'm sure most of us have spent more on other acne products that didn't work for us. Good luck everyone

Pros:

It smells amazing! It's one of my favourite masks now.
It's great for spot treatments, and helps shrink acne after a week or so of using.

Cons:

They don't sell it here in the UK! :[ I had to ask one of my American friends to send me it, ha.

I love it. It smelled like that sweet minty gum? It does what it says, it helps acne. And I noticed it helps a bit on small acne scars also. I just love it. Also, it's clay based, so it helps with oily skin(like mine.) And to the people that say it dries their skin, is because you're not suppose to use it everyday. It's a mask, use it once or twice a week. Also, when taking it off, I put it on before I shower, leave it for 15 minutes, and then get in a shower. The steam helps remove it a bit, then just wipe it off with a cloth, and you're good to go! [:

Pros:

It works!

Cons:

Stings the face a bit.

I have decent skin that I'm not ashamed of, but I have blackheads that bother me like crazy. I had the product for a while but stopped using it because it caused me to break out. Here's what I didn't realize: it was my fault that I was breaking out. The major tip when using this product is to use it in moderation. DO NOT use it everyday, which is what I did before. It dries out your skin and causes irritation. I blamed it on my sensitive skin at first (my skin doesn't react well with the majority of skin cleansing products) but after getting annoying by the amount of blackheads on my nose, I decided to give the product another try. I put it on for about 15 minutes yesterday and hopped in the shower. This morning when I woke up, my pores were noticeably smaller and my nose was almost void of blackheads! It was absolutely amazing. My overall tips: use it about once or twice a week. Don't over do it. Place a decent amount on your face, enough to cover and not see any part of your skin. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water, then rinse your face with cold water (this helps close the pores). Hopefully it'll work for you!

Pros:

Deeply cleans skin, purges oil from pores, softens skin, improves skin texture

Cons:

Kinda abrasive, burning sensation when applied, results are mediocre

This mask is worth the money as an aid to combat extra oil on your skin. It smells wonderful, has a nice creamy texture and is most beneficial in improving the all around texture of your skin. If you don't like tingling or burning, than don't use this product. The sensation when applying this mask can be uncomfortable, but will subside after a few minutes. All in all, I'd have to say that the results of this mask are mediocre. I found more success with the egg white mask. If you're looking for an accessible way to clean the oil from your skin, and you don't have much time, I would definitely recommend this product. Be sure to spread it evenly over the surface of your skin, and don't leave it on more than thirty minutes. This mask drains oil from your pores in a small amount of time, and this is the oil you want to remove, not lay stagnant on your skin.

Pros:

This product does exactly what it says it will. Purges your pores, shrinks zits, gets rid of blackheads, overall improves skin.

Cons:

Dries skin if used too often.

Even though my acne is not horrible, I am diligent about not getting zits because I compulsively pop and pick them. It's a behavior that I struggle to control, but the best thing I can do is keep my skin from breaking out in the first place. I truly believe that this product has saved my skin from ruin. I have tried a lot of products, including expensive ones like Proactiv (which nearly RUINED my skin - worst acne product ripoff ever). The Mint Julep masque has given me the best results of anything I have ever tried. It removes all the dirt and oil from your pores. It feels like my skin can breathe! And it is soooo cheap! I now have a skin routine that works, and everything I use is inexpensive. This works really well for me: -Before showering, wash face with Biore Skin Preservation facewash -Then apply Mint Julep Masque and allow to dry... wash off in shower -Immediately after shower I apply a generous amount of aloe vera gel (the kind you use on a sunburn) to my whole face, because it keeps it from drying out after being in the hot water -After a few minutes, I rinse the aloe off with lukewarm water, dry my face and put on Olay Active Hydrating lotion -At night I just wash my face with the Biore and apply the Olay lotion My skin is awesome now, for the first time since puberty hit. For the occasional zit I put a dab of benzoyl peroxide cream (like ZapZit) on it overnight and it's gone. Everything I use I can get at a drugstore for under $15.00. I do feel that the Mint Julep Masque is my key solution though. Can't praise it enough.

Pros:

This mask made my face less oily, it made my pimples less noticeable, and it also shrunk my pores. My skin is very sensitive and tends to be red all the time and I saw that the mask hepled with that also. It also leaves a very clean, fresh feeling.

Cons:

none

helped with redness, reduced my pimples, shrunk my pores.

Pros:

Great Minty Smell, but not over powering like many menthol based facial products.

Firms face and smooths skin with each application.

Noticable reduces pimple size with first use.

Calming and Relaxing, great for an at home spa day.

Cons:

None regarding benefits of product, because of the thickness of the product wish my store sold the twist top jar for easier application.

Recently my face has begun to break out primarily on the cheek area after using Noxzema, Neutrogena & Clean & Clear my face seems to have gotten worse this product has significantly reduced the size and severity of my acne, no new breakouts as of yet (YIPPIE). The product has a great subtle smell although the green color will ruin good cloths. I use this product once a day every day as my acne reduces some more I may reduce the use of this product. I begin by washing my face with aprocot scrub and buffing my face with a glove exfoliator, after I rinse my face throughly with warm water to open up my pores, I apply an even layer of Mint Julep masque and will typically leave it on for about 15 mins - 1 hour (depending on time) I try to rinse my face with cool water to help close my pours before going out. I personally don't see the need to apply any facial moisturizer to my face. I don't have major blackheads but the ones I do have are not reduced by this product I still find the need to use a pore strip on those areas. I was put onto this product again by my hubbies mother and am so glad, not to mention that for $3.99 I could get 2 and still be under what I pay for Neutrogena and Clean and Clear and have twice the product. :^)

Pros:

-Cheap
-Lovely scent
-Nice consistency
-Relaxing and effective

Cons:

-Packaging

The packaging is pretty bad, I know I'm going to have to cut it open to scoop out the last precious bits BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER, because the product is great. I try to avoid harsh chemicals, and usually use honey, baking soda, and apple cider vinegar on my face. Unfortunately, when I break out I need something stronger...and so I turn to this! I apply a thin mask to my face and leave it on for however long I want, and then rinse it off. My pores are practically nonexistent, clear, and my zits are flat and less red. I use it as a spot treatment on zits and even already popped pimples. Exams are next week and for the first time I have no stress breakouts!!
