Dove : Sensitive Skin Bar

After years of trying to improve my acne, the best cleanser was the simplest and cheapest!! I am always careful to wash off the outer layer before lathering my face, since bar soap can harbor bacteria. Also wash gently! If you scrub too much it can dry out your skin. I follow up with Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel lotion. I feel like my skin is actually LESS oily since using Dove because of the moisturizing! Definitely give this a try.

I wouldnt purchase the soap again. I only tried the beauty bar because my grandmother recommended. I will go back to using dial white antibacterial soap because it keeps my face pimple free majority of the time.

well, when i first bought it and used it, it dried out my skin pretty bad... my skin is pretty dry, that's why.. well, i've tried proactiv, neutregina, noxema, clean and clear, clearisel.. nothing really worked for me.. i mean, for a week or two, then it went back to the same problem.. i dont have huge pimples or huge breakouts.. but, it bothers me.. a lot. well, i used dove (even though my brother told me not to). one of my friends told me she used it and it worked on her acne.. she had tried proactiv, too.. dove is really helping my skin.. it's getting a LOT better, and it's a lot brighter now.. you just need a little moisturizer.. :)

Ive been using this for about 3 months now with my prescription acne treatments. Ive tried other things for a little bit such as cetaphil and cerave but evry time i found myself comming back to this. Its great!

This soap is all you need if you're suffering with acne. I have stopped using cleasners all together and this soap has just been amazing! My skin sucks so much and it is extremely sensitive so the soap can be a little drying, but I have paired this with Aveeno Clear Complexion moisturizer and it does wonders. Definitely worth a try!

I used Cetaphil for more than a year already and it helped clear my acne because I have been having acne since my late teen years. I also tried using Tretinoin along with Cetaphil but I still get breakouts at least twice a week, though it was better than before. I started using Dove as a body soap only about two weeks ago and used it also on my face since I ran out of Cetaphil. Since I started using it, my skin got lighter and the acne scars went lighter. I never had a breakout for a week already. I will continue to use the product and see if Dove will be the answer to my acne problem. I have tried other soaps and spot acne medication but none worked. I even went to a dermatologist and used their product but after I was off of it, my acne came back.

Perhaps I just have VERY dry skin but this soap dried out my skin very badly. Did an amazing job on my body though, Just didn't do much for my face. I admit, I only gave it around three days to work but the drying out of my skin got pretty annoying.

I love this soap!!! I have had severe acne forseven years and have literally tried every acne product on this planet! My skin was left red, inflamed, raw, and my skin just completely had it. I gave up hope of clearing my skin a year ago and decided to just simply wash my face with dove soap since it was made for sensitive skin and that was it. Never in a million years after spending hundreds of dollars on all those acne products out there that Dove SOAP would be the best thing i have done for my face!!!!! Within a month the redness and irritation was completely gone. My skin was smooth, moisturize, and best of all clearer than it has been in seven years! I just washed my face three times a day with the Dove white soap and that's it. No acne creams, gels, antibiotics, or anything else! I am even getting complimented on my skin! Thank you Dove!!!!!!!

My ane has gotten much better over the 10 months that I have used this. Its great for sensitive skin!
