Pros:

Quick to work
not too girly of a smell; minty smelling
nice texture
not tested on animals. ever.

Cons:

drying

I love this stuff. I originally went in to the shop just for the oil as a spot treatment, but then I saw they had a full regime and I had to try it. I love The Body Shop's products, and now I can add this to the list! After one night my acne "problem spots" had really shrunken, I didn't have as many red spots, and my blackheads and pore look smaller. Never before have i found something this awesome! I actually got this little bag with the travel size was, toner, lotion and a full sized tea tree oil in it, and the lotion does wonders to balance out the dryness. It is rather potent. Best of all, this little kit was cheaper than a lot of other acne solutions, and yet it was so good, next time I think I'll get the full size bottles.

may work for some but not me

Pros:

soft skin
feels clean

Cons:

a little stinky
bad breakouts
expensive

First off I hear great things about this wash so that alone motivated me to spend 30 bucks on the kit. I tried it and my face broke out horrible! I'm used to maybe 5 pimples a month I was so sad because I really wanted this wash to work, it makes my skin feel soo soft afterwards and the smell fades after a few minute. so that was months ago and I just tried it again thinking maybe my skin just needs to get used to it.. nope horrible breakouts everywhere . this stuff just isn't for me.

Didn't work.
In fact it dried out my skin so badly. I love the tea tree line but this product just didn't do it for me.

Best thing I've ever used.
I just want to begin this post by saying I've never reviewed anything before. I've struggled with moderate-severe acne for the past two years on and off. I've tried everything- salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, acne.org regimen (which definitely helped, but after I stopped using it two months later I broke out even worse) and even went to consult a dermatologist. When I saw them, I begged them not to prescribe me with a topical treatment that would burn out my skin. They gave me tretinoin and it did nothing but make my acne worse, I tried this for two months then decided to stop. I've researched so many things online, have tried supplements, vitamins, gummies, drinking collagen supplements that tasted absolutely disgusting-- anything that claimed it would help my acne. I finally came across the body shop's tea tree products and decided to try the 3 step gift set. It came with the facial wash, toner, and on the spot tea tree oil. On top of that, I also got the tea tree anti-imperfection serum as well. I've always been a huge advocate for tea tree oil in helping acne, and when I took those few months off of tea tree, I realized I should've never stopped. This product SAVED MY LIFE. Within 5 days, my skin was so extremely smooth and no new zits were forming. I bought the anti-imperfection serum as well for my acne scars, and I'm so happy I did. i thought they would never go away, but after two weeks of using that product they're almost completely gone. I am so blessed to find this product, believe me when I say I've tried absolutely everything in the book and I can't believe it's been two years and I finally came across this product. Give it time if it's not working for you, tea tree oil is the absolute best fighter against acne.

Extremely harsh for sentive skin!!!
So I used this a half year and i thought it would be good for my acne. I didn't even know that my skin is sensitive and that the cleanser should not let your skin look red and irritated. So it literally made my acne sooo bad that even a year later I had to suffer from the red scars that this product left. This cleanser was way too harsh for my skin and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin!!!

tea tree made it worse

Pros:

removes oil

Cons:

doesn't keep the skin clear
leads to more breakouts
expensive

I've used this product for a year it worked at clearing the oil from my skin but has left my skin with more acne and dry skin that flakes off. Its a very expensive wash and I suspect the toner doesn't work :I also a few hours later my skin became oily in the t zone

Its nice, but not worth the price

Pros:

no animal testing!! :)
prevents future breakouts

Cons:

expensive

I use the foaming face wash with tea tree oil. It does not help with existing breakouts but it does prevent skin from getting any worse. However for the price it costs, i don't think that it is worth getting it :(
